Conversion
Can anyone please help me? Here is what I am trying to do. Has anyone dealt with any of the Airsoft 6mm sniper rifles. Some of them are Really nice. My question is that I would like to convert one of these into a more powerful pellet rifle. I really like the way that they use a conventional bolt action with actual magazines. Some of these mags hold 30 6mm BB’s. The 6mm BB’s that they shoot are 24mm. So, I guess what I would really want is a bolt action with sniper stock, with the ability to shoot a .22, or .24 cal pellet out of it. If it was setup to shoot the .24 then you could shoot pellets in addition to shooting the 6mm BB’s which come in bulk and would make for good practice shooting. The airsoft’s are nice, just that the velocity isn’t there. What do you think we could come up with? I know that there are some brilliant machinists on this forum..

Yes, I understand that AS-IS, it currently won’t work. I am up for re-manufacturing the vital parts so that it would work. What all would have to be changed. Is it just that everything would have to be beefed up, or what?
I have some experience with Airsoft guns and from the many I have seen and worked on none of them are strong enough to be converted to a pellet gun of any substance and would never be able to hold the pressures.
Here is the “Green Gas” Version, basically meaning charged with a can of R-134 gas.

Here is an example. This one is obviously a Springer, but what would be needed in order to turn this rifle into an air version shooting greater than 800fps, with the possibility to shoot either the 6mm plastic or aluminum BB’s already manufactured for it, plus the ability to accept a .22, or .24 pellet?

Here is probably the Crem de la Crem of Airsoft sniper rifles. With the quality of machining, why wouldn’t be possible to build specific parts up to the quality needed to hold pressures necessary to propel any of these guns up to 800fps.
