Convince me NOT to get a bullpup Vulcan 25!
Yes, I want to hear the real honest issues out there from folks who owns the Vulcan or any of its variations.

Just curious….Can the Vulcan bullpup 25 shoot the JSB 25 grainers accurately in the 950-960 fps range like the Crickets?

If your need is target or bench rest then, Daystate, Air arms, Kalibr, Vulcan, Theoben,FX. Reason shot count, bolt operation,noise.
If your need is long range , 100 to 200 yards then, Vulcan,Kalibr and Daystate, Air arms, Theoben, FX.
Reason accuracy.

I will need it for long range benchrest exactly at the range you mention.
I have read that the Vulcan bullpup has even a longer barrel than the Vulcan Tactic rifle. My personal preference leans toward the longer barrel.
And again, I do not desire to be wasting much time tinkering. I just want to shoot.

is this not the most compact 0.25 on the market currently?
although compactness is not my most primary concern, but, yes… YES.. this is the most compact cal .25 on the market. and that makes it extra sexy and attractive bullpup to have.
i too will be considering one as the new edguns will take an eternity to appear and the rumours of a new colibri in 0.25 semi are just that – rumours.

Was just thinking you may not like the deliberate action of the cocking depending on what you’re used to.
It can be double loaded.. Quite a few times I’ve thought I’d cocked the gun, gone for the shot and hammer wasn’t set. You’ve then got to remove the magazine and cock the gun, take the shot, refit magazine. Be a Pain in a hunting situation!
If you want to add your own moderator the gun has an M14x1.25 male thread so bare that in mind. I had to have moderators made as I didn’t want an adaptor.
Show me a gun and I’ll show you a negative though!
For me the size of it for a .25 out weighs the negatives.
hey James, thanks for the inputs. I currently have a benchrest gun. Though basically handmade, she is not outsider in the precision and accuracy department. My main and primary draw to the Vulcan bullpup 25 since its introduction to the market, was that it seems like the one air rifle that can deliver the goods right out of the box. Whereas others might be fertile grounds for exploration and tinkering, and I am a tinkerer myself, I really am not comfortable with a gun costing that much in cash, and labor in making it a real shooter.
The Cricket might be a close second though…it seems.

Recently read somewhere that the rumor of the barrels being different lengths has been dispelled. Both the rifle and the bullpup barrels are apparently the same length.
