Q:

Cricket 22 or 25

First post here for me.
Looking to pull triger on a Cricket. I leaning towards the 25 cal, this will be for plinking and squirrel hunting. any pro or cons over the 22.
shot count, FPE? I have used a 25 Hatsan in the past along with a Prod.

Like many trusted owners I have 2 Taipans and love them, a Mutant 22 cal Shorty and a Veteran 25 cal Shorty.

On the Mutant I/some had an issues with the barrel being Taiwan based, but that turn out replaced without a hitch.
The Veteran on the other hand that I recently aquired, shoots without a glitch unlike some of the BP I have it’s rather boringly issueless and shoots like a laser out of that box.

My Veteran 25 Shorty post ……

I also have 2 older purchased KG Crickets, a 22 Standard and a Compact 177.
Both, also very good choices in my book but with the Taipan Veteran being newer with more user friendlier features out of box ready to go.
With the Taipans …. any which one u chooses a 22 or 25 cal will get u satisfied, I have No Doubt !

………. anymore question just ask, Sir.

Same as it does in the box……………

I couldn’t resist.

Guys, thanks for the input. I will give the Muntant a look. How do the muntant shoot out of the box?

Is that by EPA standards?

All the cunt hairs in Texas are measured clean, After the measurement that’s another story.

Cunt hair Mike??? Is that a clean or dirty cunt hair??

I own both a 22 cricket and a 25 Cricket, You can not go wrong with a Cricket, Which one is best, Wow, I bought my 25 a few years ago right after I bought my 22, Both went to Earnest before I laid a hand on them. If you want something dead shoot it with the 22, You want something more dead shoot it with the 25, Any Cricket over the Hatsan and the Prod is going to be a big eye opener, That means your going to shit.
I do not want to knock you off the Cricket, But my hunting guns that I have to carry is the Veteran 25 short and the Mutant 22 short.
Super light , Super accurate, My Crickets and Mutants accuracy will come down to a cunt hair, If you compare them,
And that my friend is a true Texas measurement ,
And you can take that to the bank .

Being I only own the .22 cal all I can say is WOW!!!! What a Bullpup! Unbelievable accuracy, great shot count, and what an awesome trigger.
Oh and :tag: …
Which ever one you pick out you won’t be sorry. But did I ever tell you I love my Vulcan also?

Go with a Power Tuned .25 from Georgia Airguns. I have the pup and my Dad has the carbine. Freaking Awesome- quiet, powerful(34gr. JSB @ 900-915fps or 25gr JSB 1015fps), Very Accurate easily accomplished(3/16″-1/2″ groups @100yds), life time maintence, 36-40 shots per fill. Best air rifle my Dad or myself has every owned.
