Cricket .30/.35 is coming !
I got the info yesterday evening. Hannu (websales.fi) ordered a bunch of those while at IWA. So it is coming . He mailed me about that and called it “the .30” so i need to check out which cal it will be but a big Cricket is definitely around the corner. Thought the powermongers among us wanted to know …

I would say a Grand for the MAX-ML .357 should be about right
Maybe even less since the Sniper .357 is $ 1.079
I read about the ML from Jim’s site but enjoy playing Devil’s advocate. π I am guessing the 9mm, 45, or 50 are still over $1000.
On the Cricket remember that it is regulated – I’ll agree with better efficiency but not power. π

That’s the one I’m getting next,….half the price of a Cricket π π π
Different gun π π
77.62 grains JSBs x 800 fps = 110 fpe.
That would actually be quite poor performance, even my Blizzard gets 14 shots at 116+ fpe from a 200 bar fill and can do 180 fpe if I turn the oomph up.
It is about .8 lbs lighter. That should be worth $500 at least. π

I saw the $800 mentioned by Jim at the Shot Show.
The MAx is a electronic semi full auto
Max ML is sideleverβ¦. guy at the shot show said it would be in the 800 dollar range
Secoda no price announced yet on the MAX ML.

A 9mm Max BP is $2100. π―

Don’t tease us. π I think they had to redo the regulator for the 9mm from the prototype so anything is possible. It just didn’t have enough oomph and the changes they did for the .25 were not in the ball park. If they get it up to 110 fpe or so and 14 shots that will be impressive. Then Ed will have to beat it.

The new model, the MAX-ML .357 coming out in April shoul be even more powerfull since it’s based on the new action that’s designed for the .45 and .50

yeah, I’m sure that they will have more shots than a Rainstorm .357 ….curious to see what kind of power they where able to squeeze out.
a Rainstorm tweeked a bit can give good 7 shots in the 145 FPE range
once you go big bore shot count isn’t all that important, …….it’s that one shot that counts π
Yeh but the evanix are not regulatedβ¦β¦ and you can’t fill them to 300 bar. Im betting (pure speculation) they will come out getting a solid 25 shots or better. at 850 or so FPS

I guess it is a hunting gun but only 14 shots is not exciting for me. I consider some of my current guns are set up for hunting but I find myself shooting them a lot of rounds for tuning and enjoyment and I hate stopping to air the guns. I guess tether it when tuning and not really a biggy !! ?? Just have to thing different on these big bore guns.
no need for .30 just bypass that caliber since IMO to close to the .25 both in caliber and power and you’re stuck with pellets only
the .357 makes much more sense and there’s plenty cast bullets to be bought and roundballs
So Manny any Cricket fever yet?

If they came without a regulator, a safety and an improved Mag/loading/lever action it would be in considaration.
It would be nice to have Rifle and Pup in all calibers .22 – .25 and .357 but it’s a no go with the current features,….my needs are different than the majority of the public π π
We all know your dirty needs … π― π―
Evanix have been doing the 9mm for a long time in several airguns and it would be reasonable to expect the same range which is nearly the same figure I heard. Its a lot of power. Manny would have a good idea of what to expect in a 9mm BP. π

Awww! Given all the milling details, it kinda makes sense, but it’s such a beauty.
Guess that means my WST .25 will become a collector’s item. Crap, now I may not want to take it into the field for fear of denting it! π
I guess I ordered my .25 WST at the perfect time then as it will probably be one of the last ones ever produced. Delivery due in a couple of weeks. π
