Q:

Cricket .30/.35 is coming !

I got the info yesterday evening. Hannu (websales.fi) ordered a bunch of those while at IWA. So it is coming . He mailed me about that and called it “the .30” so i need to check out which cal it will be but a big Cricket is definitely around the corner. Thought the powermongers among us wanted to know …

Smart of Kalibur,

no need for .30 just bypass that caliber since IMO to close to the .25 both in caliber and power and you’re stuck with pellets only

the .357 makes much more sense and there’s plenty cast bullets to be bought and roundballs

So Manny any Cricket fever yet?

If they came without a regulator, a safety and an improved Mag/loading/lever action it would be in considaration.

It would be nice to have Rifle and Pup in all calibers .22 – .25 and .357 but it’s a no go with the current features,….my needs are different than the majority of the public 🙂 😉

Preliminary figures are just that – preliminary. The .35 has been long time coming so i actually expect it to be thoroughly thought out and well functioning. Or not … Who the hell knows anyway.

I had seen some preliminary figures on their .35 and it wasn’t real fast FPS. The 35s are meant for hunting moderate game at close ranges.

If it shoots like its little brothers (my .22 compact). It will dominate.

With a 300 bar tube I bet they can really get them 357’s moving

I am an idiot! It’s a .35 cal / 9 mm. No .30 cal so forget my inaccurate first post. It can be ordered now nevertheless.

If they can get it down to the noise level of the R3 30 cal it will be a big hit IMO.

If it follows the tradition of making them less noisy than EG’s it will be quieter than the R3.

BTW – the .25 WST is no more. That stock will be discontinued in favor for the wooden “Bulldog” made to .25/.30 specs.

Awww! Given all the milling details, it kinda makes sense, but it’s such a beauty.

Guess that means my WST .25 will become a collector’s item. Crap, now I may not want to take it into the field for fear of denting it! 😛

That’s great news! I hope it is as accurate as their other guns.

At least for .25´s they are. Maybe not for the smaller Bugs (.177 & .22) since they share the same stock. – i need to ask.

I got the synthetic Bulldog on my compact… was thinking getting the skeleton later. your saying they are discontinuing them?

I´ll get all the specs and the price and that probably tomorrow. He needs to get back from Germany and maybe even sober up. :suprisedn:
I´m confident the price is the same – or near the same – than the price for a .25.

Did he happen to say what the price difference would be? What the specs are?
