Q:

Cricket Bullpup – Shot count

Hi guys,

Decided to pre order a Cricket Bullpup as someone is now about to start selling them in the UK.
Does anyone know if theres much difference between the .22 standard and the .22 compact with regards to shot count/accuracy etc

Please note, these will be sub 12ft lb because I live in a shit country 🙄

I had a compact cricket shooting 31fpe and got over 40 shots with it, so you should get a lot more with 12fpe. Compact cricket with skeleton stock is the ultimate carry gun for hunting! Just to me the way the clip goes in and the springs in it I didn’t like. You will be happy with your purchase though!

quote Hoot:

Dear Kurth….

The shot count with the Kalibr Cricket Compact will be less than the .22 Standard! (Less air = Less shots) You should get at least 40+ shots at sub 12 fpe.

Accuracy is unaffected by barrel length in pcp airguns. A 12″ barrel is as accurate as a 24″ barrel at 100 meters.

Only fps/fpe can be increased with a longer barrel, so don’t waste money on length in a 12 fpe country.

Thank you Hoot…

Looking at the difference in overall length of both bullpups, I’m just gonna go with the Standard as there’s only 6cm difference
