By using two layers of shrinking isolation tube. Asked and answered. 🙂

I have two layers of heat shrink over mine.

Zonk how did you make yours?

I am sure there is a good reason for the extended handle?
What are your reasons?
I have heard of people putting rubber tubing on the lever?
Mike

I am a prone shooter and this makes it easier to grab, without having to completely shift my position.

Yes right now I am very frustrated with my gun but that does not stop my brain.

Yes that is a extended lever handle

Started out as aluminum rod

Set screwed in

angled for easy of grading

GKU, thats some nice groups u got there. i gotta learn to shot like that =)

my first 1 shot 2 targets. taken at 48m (bushnell rangefinder). both had their chest crossing n aligned. jsb 10.34 pellet at 850fps. not even a twitch, 1 went spasm for like few secs.

Chad I’ve noticed that when I clean my barrel, which isn’t very often, my patches aren’t very dirty at all. My barrel was lapped and I lube my pellets. It’s been over 500 pellets since I’ve cleaned it. Maybe I should go do it now………after this one. :18:

Nice! :butkick: and now its my beer lol

With an standard deviation of 9 fps your shot POI error according to Chair Gun will be between .33″-.63″ of vertical spread between shots @ 100 yards.
An extreme spread of 44 fps will give you a 3″ drop of vertical spread @ 100 yards from fill to ending.
All that excludes all other variables like the shooter, environmental and ammo, etc……

I’ve tuned my friends Cricket 25 cal after it’s break-in period and it’s SD is less than 1 fps. :biggrinn:

Thanks Jan and Zonk for the kind words !!

250 shots with out cleaning I think my 100 yard group will be better next time. :biggrinn:

Pros of lubed pellets
1) accuracy does not suffer until about 180 – 200 shots, as opposed to about 50.
2) lubed pellets are an average of 11 fps faster then none lubed.
3) barrel cleaning is much faster!
