Chad, Just wait until you get to go outside and stretch it out!! I too my .22 out on Saturday after zeroing it in with the new PA scope… I put a head shot on this squirrel at 72 yards! Shot him from the window of my truck. He was in the top of the tree! I LOVE this gun!

You’ll have to turn your head to see the pic correctly, that or your screen… don’t know why it posts like that. It’s not that way on my computer until i put it in the thread… 🙂

I see, ya to take up the first stage would be kind of scary on a hair trigger setting on that gun anyway, thanks nice job in any case !

~ GKU, p.s. that is my first Airgun that I had when I was about 8, it never needed servicing all original seals !

I actually did it myself but the trigger did not turn out so good lol and the stock was to unstable.

Hey Cad, where did you get that Crosman 392 Bullpup set up from ?

I have a vintage Benjamin Franklin 317 “1964” I think it is.
Wondering if it will work on mines also ?

This stock has been a work in progress with no time now to finish.

did some fun shooting today at 16 yds in my house. Trying to figure out when my gun comes off the reg. Heres a video of how far the POI chages after falling off the reg. First shot was my fault second shot was good third shot was off the reg. My reg falls off in between 130-120 bar, according to the gun. I get about 1/2 groups at 16 yds when my gun is below regulated air.

Nice looking scope! :biggrinn:

and yes the power adjustment ring is pretty stiff but I really think you are going to like this scope

Well Chad, and others…
I did pay a visit to Primary Arms in Pearland, Texas today… What a great bunch of guys to talk to and deal with. I picked up the PA 4-14X44 FFP with the Mil-Mil layout. I got a great deal on the scope and mount set up. The mount is a quick mount that is well built. The scope appears to be very clear and after playing around with the FFP feature a bit this afternoon, I think I’m going to be liking this scope. It will probably be Saturday before I get to shoot it in and take off some turtle heads with it. After getting to shoot it, I will give a report on that. Scope appears to be a good build with smooth operating turrets, parallax turret and power adjustment wheel. Only thing I can say is the power adjuster seems to be stiff (similar to the Leupold VX line is), but it’s smooth. We’ll see how she shoots.

Oh yea, I took my skeleton stock off the .22 and put the synthetic stock on. I figured I could get away with that being as the little .22 is significantly lighter to begin with than the .25 cal.. At some point I might take the sawzall, grinder and sander to that stock too, but it’s OK for now. Here’s how she looks all decked out:

Will do Chad. If all goes according to plan, I will go visit them tomorrow and report back if I make a purchase (or 2…)…

What’s the scope? I’m guessing Aeon?

lol sorry its a primary arms 4-14×44 ffp.

and it is much clearer then the photos show!

After seeing your pics and your write up Chad, I got on line and checked out the PA scopes… ordered one and then saw that they are very close to me just south of town in the city of Pearland, TX… Cancelled the online order. I’m going to drive down and check ’em out in person. Right now my plan is to put one on my .22 for plinking (long range plinking) and see if it is something I may want to put on my .25 for hunting. Hoping the weather cooperates this weekend so I can get out and shoot some… Fighting a cold/flu last week so stayed indoor all weekend… That ain’t my cup o tea so to speak… 🙁

Great choice let us know how the trip goes!

finally got my pellets today and my gun shipped with about 180 bar in it so i put 13 rounds out my backyard today.

HOLY COW!!!!! this gun has a light trigger!! it is going to take some getting used to.

took me 12 shots to get it sighted in at about 27 yds.

one thing I really like about this scope is the fact that it has 10-1000-infinity parallax adjustment I like the option to shot something as close as 10 yds away. The horizontal and vertical adjustable knobs are a little gushy but the clicks are easily heard and felt and they clearly show on paper the crazy spread on my last three shots are because I was so excited to shot this gun, I just could not calm down and the trigger is so short, light, and crisp that it is going to take some time for me to get used to. The scope is extremely clear even out to 500 -600 yrds. Have not been able to check any further then that yet but I will be keeping you guys in the loop on how this scope is performing

zeroed out the scope at 27 yds for now.

red arrow was first shot ever
orange was my quick correction
then i walked it in with
yellow
green
blue
purple
then white was a correction in the wrong direction
brown brought it back on top of blue
then pink
then light grey
then i shot my POA out with black
then dark grey was my one last shot before i had to stop

this scope is amongst the best I have used. Which is not much. Konus pro, simmons, center point, cheap leupold, redfield, utg, tasco, and many others none of which I would trade for this scope!

Yes sir! The primary arms scope will get a full review.
