Yea, that’s what I intend to do. I’ll spray a bit of it on the inside and see what happens. Will post up the results pics… Not sure when that will happen though… It’s been cold and/or raining here for the past week… Don’t look like it will be much better this coming week. May have to take it to work and do it in our service shop…
I’m unsure of what kind of black plastic that is ?
If it’s ABS will the spray adhere to it ?
Might what to try it on a small spot …. … . . maybe in one of the small inside hollow chamber.
If not maybe a cool Realtree Wrap would work out ?

Thanks! I’m still debating with myself whether or not to spray it with the black truck bed liner stuff I bought or spray some kind of clear coat on it so the Stippling would stand out better. I really like the gray natural color along with the dark black stipple patches, but the gray areas scratch and scuff very easily. If I leave it gray, I’ll have to put something on it.
If you can try to boost your 22 cal to 940 fps with JSB 18g it would match better with Kings @ 920 fps but your accuracy may suffer ?
I lucked out on my two Crickets it just so happen to be very accurate at those velocities and matched up well, go figure ? lol

Wow that’s pretty cool. I remembered you posted pics of those two babies. I can almost do the same thing with my .22 and .25. My .22 must be tuned about like yours. I haven’t really messed with it other than shoot it… it’s still pretty new, but I chrony’d it with the JSB 18.1’s and it is very consistent at 880 fps and is extremely accurate… My .25 is Earnest Tuned and it’s shooting the JSB 25.4’s at 920. both are zeroed at 40 yards and both pretty much shoot the same between 25 and 50 yards…. and that covers over 90% of my shots, though I have taken some stretched out shots with the .25… longest was 139 yard head shot on a turtle sitting on a log in the creek. My .22 is pretty much a lead pipe cinch out to 75 yards… longest with it is 94 yard head shot on a turtle, but I’ve done that several times (same log, different turtles 🙂 )

My Cricket 22 standards regulator is set to 125 bars using JSB 18g it does 880 fps with a 1.43 bars per shot air consumption. I’m getting as much as 7 mags = 98 shots when I fill to 270 bars, but I’m not into shot count more into consistency so I just usually fill to 210 bar to get a 4 mags = 56 shots to carry in the BP stock mag holders.
My Cricket 177 cal compact regulator is set to 107 bars is tune to send JSB 10.34g @ 890 fps with a shot efficiency of 1.19 bars per shot. I fill to 210 bar to get 6 mags = 84 shots
The very cool thing is both guns I tuned to the same shot curve (trajectory) out to 75 yards so I can use the same holdover. 
I just have to lower the magnification on the 22 cal to 12x.
There no frills kind of a scope lower magnification with no lighted rads, but with Japan glass !
Airgun and more so I think with the BP can get top heavy real fast.
When I had the Hawke on I always worried that it would fall over without a bipod, which I prefer not to use.
When lifting from a sideways position the torque it has on my wrist was an issues after a long hunt.
I try taking the scope off and carried it around a bit one day mounted it again and that’s when I felt the difference, ounces up there can feel like pounds !

What did you switch to? I was thinking about scoping my .22 with the same scope, but if there’s a goodun that is also lighter, I’d be all for that too… Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Greg! It was a purpose driven project, but it did turn out better than I thought it would. End story is though that .25 cricket is just a heavy dang gun!

i got my wheeler scope ring alignment tool and when i put it together it was so close to perfect i almost didnt even lap it, the only reason i did was for surface area,
mounted the bipod with a wood screw type sling pin
these are the only mods so far! will post more as i do more.
cant wait to shoot it!!!!!
