Q:

Cricket Rifle Case

Hey all, need to find a rifle case for the 25 cal cricket. I have been searching and ordered a couple off amazon but none of them have the height. The edgun already comes with a case so that was one less issue I had to worry about (Review between the 25 cal hitters coming up soon). So while my cricket sits in a full sized rifle case I look for something similar like the Edgun case, any ideas where I can find one or know of something of a similar solution? Thanks

Kalibrgun

3 weeks ago I did not have cricket 🙄 but this one will be suitable. Do you think 29cm will be ok for cricket with hawke sidewinder scope? Now I have not cricket here I can´t measure it…
85cm is good size for standard cricket enough but for long cricket cal .25 probably not.

That one looks really nice. It´s a bit shorter too (85 vs. 94 cm) so it´s more compact. Why didn´t you come with that link like three weeks ago ? I´d bought that one instead … 👿

Thanks Sir Ville I found this one http://www.zbrane-airsoft.cz/army-shop-prepravni-pouzdra-na-zbrane//swiss-arms-pouzdro-85cm/ for 35€ it´s quite good… i think

What ? That´s a bargain ! 😯

Octavius – check the German site : http://www.sportwaffen-schneider.de/ for bags and cases. They have loads for an O.K price and do ship throughout Europe.
I have that exact bag and it´s good for an EdGun – both std & long versions. Those two storage bags are useful for my bipods, some tools, pellets, spinners and what-not with plenty of room to them. The bagpack/rucksag feat is great too.

That price can’t be real….as if so is love to see the person who buys it.

Do you think is possible to buy it somewhere in Europe please?

An almost similar case can be found in Germany for 26 Euro. I have one and it works great. The same rucksag configuration as the one by the OP.

On ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/SWISS-ARMS-BLACK-GUN-AIR-RIFLE-TACTICAL-AIRSOFT-CASE-BAG-MAT-120CM-LONG-VERSION-/130740714607?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item1e70c0fc6f is probably original but have look on price 😆

I see. I have an AR Tactical Bulldog soft case like the link above for my DPMS M-4 .223 rifle but it is only 11″ wide and a bit tight with my scoped Cricket. What actually works, though, for a soft case is my Cabelas bow case. It has hook and loop straps for securing it.

A hard case that keeps the gun from sliding?

No-a soft case what i thought Octavius was looking after. Now with closer look to his reply he might have been asking for the single point sling by Magpul …

Looks like too much case for the gun. Do they have a smaller one?

Well the Long is 6″ longer so the case would be perfect…. Plano makes one that is 36″ outside but it is very tight for the long inside. Look at my link above for the Plano Tactical.

Now you can flip the foam if you want the smooth side(s) rather than the egg carton. With the straps I may flip just the bottom foam.

I also checked out the next step up in cases which is the Plano Tactical for $105. It is actually 6″ thick like the Pelican vs 5″ thick for the Flambeau. If I was shipping the gun I might consider it. Both the Pelican and the Plano are heavy compared to the Flambeau.

I just bought a hard case yesterday for my std Cricket but I wanted the gun strapped in and separate from the compartment that held pellets and accessories. I didn’t want to spend $250 US or more for a Pelican but I wanted it to be similar. I ended up with a new Flambeau Tactical which is a Chinese clone manufacturer. The case works perfectly with the std Cricket. With these little guns with walnut stocks and good scopes and big side-wheels, sliding around in a soft case isn’t a good option. The Flambeau was $49 US locally. It is also lockable. If interested I will take pictures of the gun and pellets strapped in and in separate compartments.

It should work fine with the Long as well. (40″ long)

This is a nice find SECoda.. I think I will get one. Yes, please post pictures showing your gun and pellets strapped in. Thanks.
