Someone might want to disassemble the shroud for legal reasons, some countries have bans on silencers. By removing the baffles you could circumvent this and claim the shroud is primarily there for cosmetic reasons and as a barrel weight for balance.
To disassemble the shroud, can one use heat to melt the seal? Are the ends screwed in place and then sealed with loctite or what?
Shoot at group at 35-50y with and without the shroud and compare. if consistent 1/2″ groups without shroud, then shoot a group with the shroud on if groups are larger/With flyers you have clipping or air turbulence when pellet are to close to baffles or exit hole.
Mr. Ernest, this is very good idea,,,but what is the best solution if someone has a clipping issue?
The Shroud need to be bored slightly at a time and tested till groups are close to equal. I use a custom made abrasive rod to control the grinding. not a long drill bit that come in a standard sizing, those will over enlarge the hole that need to be, then it will become louder then you would like.

The end caps are press and bounded. no need to dissemble everything inside is bounded tight. if having clipping issue—-just lightly bore and test, if you bore to much it will become louder.
I have machinist cut them from long to standard length conversion.
