Cricket Single Shot Tray
New guy here for posting.
I was thinking the other day about a single shot tray for my Cricket 22 cal. Then reading on the Talon forums Ernest Rowe mentioned using a Cricket 14 shot magazine for the single shot tray by milling out one of the holders.
My first thought was that you would sacrafice a $30, 14 shot magazine, for a single. After giving this some thought, the oring is removed, then one pellet hole is milled out for a single. The oring can be slipped back on and the magazine can then again be shot as a 14 shot repeater.
Anyway, just some thoughts as I’m about ready to mill one out for a try…I’ll keep you posted.

Eelect: How did those 3d single loaders come out on the printer?
We don’t all have lathes and mills. But if you can cad and have access to a printer. You have a lot of options waiting for you.

I realize the 3D printer is the future (?)…but as for me, I still do it the old fashioned way…with mill and lathe,,,LOL

My grandson printed out a non-function AR15 magazine receiver on a 3D printer as a project in his class. I don’t see any reason the 3D printer couldn’t print out single shot trays that does function. They are marvelous machines.

Well seeing as I’m not the arts and crafty type, I would buy a top load and a side loader if someone decides to make a little extra change on the side.
I’m thinking of printing a bunch of those. would it make sense to not include the option of side loading. I use my cheek piece and will need the tray to swing out to load pellet

This is what works for me…you might want to try your own variations. If you cut a radius on the lower right corner then you can tilt for easy loading,
