Q:

Cricket stocks, son of a beech!

What’s up with the beech stocks from Kalibrgun? I see there is a newish imported one from WWAG in the for sale section with what looks like a beech stock..
My question is with the discontinuation of the WST stock did they also switch the Bulldog stock from walnut to beach or is it a cheaper option now?

Yes yours is walnut..
Some times the grain can be simalar but beech is very light in color and is stained to look like walnut.. if in doubt scratch it somewhere in the inletting and if its beech it will be almost white under the stain.
If anyone else wants to show me thier nuts Ill be happy to peruse them and give you a wood 😯

Exactly ! Some things are better left unsaid. Did i just say that ?? :confusedn: 😯

No we would never say such things… nor would I ever say that both parties best be on thier toes if Vulcan ever get their shit together because it will out sell the both of them.. but again I didnt say that..

P.s Whats wrong with Eds parts supply? my customers never wait longer than 6 months.. isnt this the norm for all other pcp manifacturers that make guns that never break down? 😯

No. Of course you wouldn´t. As little as i would ever mention the non-existing spare parts supply or the arrogant way the customers are treated at EdGun after the buy is finished. Since we´re both Gentlemen ,or at least you are , we´ll never speak these things out loud.

I have walnut stock on HW100 and that’s really different look when I compare it with cricket stock.
HW100 has walnut without lacquer and cricket has lacquer… If it is walnut it have to be very tricksy wood.

Wingman your stock is really very nice. My is definitively beeech.

My WST stock is definitely Walnut.. after all WST stands for “Walnut standard” Id be pissed if I bought a cricket at that price and got beech.
