Cricket Video Regulator Disassembly, removal, and adjustment
For those AG’ers that like to fine tune the regulator for better shot to shot consistency at a given speed.
To adjust to higher regulated pressure you need to turn the black adjustment (seat) screw CCW so it will be further away from the regulator pistons,
so it will require more regulated air to shut the valve.

Synopsys, its the 2nd setup (())(())(())(()). I have tuned 8 reg from .177 to .25 and they are the same setup, I have tried 5 different setup but this one is the most consistent.
Today while tuning another .25 cal regulator, there was an extra disk on the last group 5 total dick, there was vary little room for it to seat properly–was almost off the main rotor. Owner had a issue that it was shooting to hot near 1000fps using kings. after tuning and adjustment of the reg to 45fpe 895fps, this was the reg sweet spot 50 shots with no more then 8fps spread. Vary time consuming task to find the most consistent fpe for that reg took me over 10 reg adjustment to find it and almost a tin of pellets. members posting 880fps is the most accurate for JSB king, you should as your self what speed is my regulator most consistent (sweet spot).

What is the Matador regulator setup like compared to the Cricket? I have acquired both in the last 5 months but have disassembled neither to that level.
