Sure why not.
If you are serious about it uou can easily DIY a silencer that’s better than Weichrauch. I’ve made some and the cost is around 20$ a piece when you order stuff from internet. As an example I made a 160mm long silencer that measures (with audacity, not measured by those useless dB meters) as quiet as 200mm long stock HW unit. The only hard pasrt is making baffles and that can be done with a bench drill and some time. If someone is interested I can put together some instructons.

Nothing’s hard to come by anywhere. You need a FAC for a silencer and AG silencer use is illegal. It’s not illegal to own one for a soft-air gun. You see where i’m going with this?? 😉

I thought silencers were hard to come by in Sweden? Chambers is probably cheaper than Schneider as Schneider takes something like 30 euros for shipping:

The cricket rifle has the same designed–they are vary quiet.
Hate to say it but a lot quieter then NC shroud.
Actually Hugget is a tad bit more quiet than HW when measured, mostly in high frequency area. Of course HW can be modified making it super duper quiet. I’ve spent quite a lot of time doing mods and measuring them one by one in audacity and this is the results vs. stock HW:

Well Ernest – that indeed is the best solution. By far.
Or have a machinist make a new threaded end cap to match the barrel threads–more smooth line but more costly!. Have tested a lot of LDC—>the HW is the quietest!

is considered the best ones at least on this side of the pond.
I my self have two “Decimeaters” and they work extremely well on both my Cricket and the Verminator mk2 which by the way is ear deafeningly loud at full power.

My orig. cricket moderator is back from claim process. Look good I have checked for pellet clipping. What I want to write… Briefly I had not a lot of time for testing but I tried both moderator for 50 meters. For now surprisingly I get better groups with HW moderator. I have shooted from bench with harris on front and sand bag behind. I do not know why HW moderator is better that original. Maybe original needs some time for reheating :biggrinn:
