Can these numbers be true?
With Extra heavy Kodiacs (22 grain I think) I am getting 745 ft per sec (aprox)
With the predator (16 grain I think) 1040 ft per sec (aprox)
Stock condor 24 inch .22
6 grains makes that much difference ??????

My condor is stock the TH is at .077 nothing modified. I hit the sound barrier with light pellets but never get near it with kodiacs. The TH was set to .103 or so from the factory, I will mess with that tonight.
Thats very very low for a Condor shooting Kodiaks. Wrong valve-Spring- weight- something isn’t right. 😕 I have to back mine down to keep it under super sonic, and it has a 18″ Bbl.

– you have the Hi-Flo and not just a regulat talon tank?
– valve is in full working operation?
– try a bigger TH setting.
why would mine be shooting at 745 and you way up there? I will crank that wheel and see what I get. I am shooting on about 7
Need more fill psi to find the beginning of the power curve unless you have already done that…..Sounds pretty accurate the way it is….

– Stock Condor 24″ .22cal with Hi-Flo tank. Bought Feb 2009.
– Beeman Kodiak .22cal 21.1gr
– Airforce Hand Pump
– Shooting Chrony Alpha
– Target range @ 50meters and my 2 ten shot groups could be covered with a nickle with a few edges showing.
– Start fill 2400psi… after 20 shots, end at 1900psi according to the hand pump.
– Top hat adjusted to 0.044″
– Powerwheel set to 6-1

LOL…Yea I shot my Condor in the house without ear protection
“ONCE”.
Yea I tried a wadcutter that was real light not sure of the weight and got the rifle crack in my basement without ear protection! ouch!
Then I guess it is what it is….Does sound like a pretty large differential
I tied it 4 or 5 times, a kodiac followed by a predator same results. I fill to 2600 psi and top hat about .077

I was shooting JSB’s Yesterday and there was 50-60 FPS between
the 15.8 and 18.1.

turn that tophat out till you notice a substantial increase in speed.
