Crosman AR15 PCP upper
Anyone see this yet?

I see some true potential here. Instead of .177 for 10 meter, they should have gone .22 or .25 and designed it for power. It’s also a bit on the fugly side IMHO. Another product designed by committee I imagine. Interesting though.

If your into wasting money on unproven first run Crosman products, may I suggest a Crosman “it’s supposed to leak” Rogue to go with your overpriced piece of junk 10 yard pcp AR upper?
Or perhaps you’d be interested in a quality item from a proven manufacturer like Anschutz? I mean if quality is something you spend money on and since money would appear to be no option…?

1. Nothing fancy about my AR’s all go and no show
2. My money, so if I decide to shot 10 yds or 1000 yds you don’t have to worry.
3. More kids die in the doctors office than from a pellet gun.
4. I have a couple of lowers already, and like the AR platform. Again my money.
5. Shot placement that I can do. Even with the iron sights provided with the crosman. 😉

If you buy one of these from Crosman you are the biggest idiot on the planet btw. Or your just looking to shoot pellets at 10 yards and under for $800 in your fancy assed AR lower. For $800 you can get a really nice and accurate to 50 yards plus pcp repeater. 😉
Oh and in case you haven’t been paying attention a kid died from 600fps in 177 recently. If you hit the right spot it can easily kill someone.
Not to mention a few folks who have taken large caliber close quarters handgun shots to the head and survived.
It’s all about shot placement.
And gun safety. 😉

The issue isn’t dealing with the police, after all if your not doing anything illegal the police are usually really cool (that is once they figure out it’s an airgun).
The issue is that most if not all airguns look just like firearms and now firearms are starting to look like toys.
U could just not put yourself in a situation that would require police?

Technically a lower attached to a pellet upper that is not firing a powder activated cartridge is not a firearm.
After all technically any AR lower is capable of being automatic or select fire with a different trigger group but you don’t hear of folks getting arrested for owning a class III AR when they go shoot their semi auto AR’s at the range right? Same “blurry” line right, perhaps worse since it’s an machine gun but those lines are not blurred what so ever or every ATF background checked AR owner in the state of CA would be in the slammer for life for having a class III device…
Nearly all quality airsoft guns are exact replicas of actual firearms. If there is no orange tip you cant tell the difference between the real thing and an airsoft version. Many AR clone makers sell their uppers and lowers for airsoft applications (demilled of course and thus no ATF check required)…

Assault weapons are illegal in CA yet every ar15 and sks is called an assault weapon in this state even though technically 99% of them are not assault weapons. Shit, even 95% of police officers can’t discern what makes a semi auto AR15 not an assault weapon in this state.
99% of illegal handguns are half the price of a pcp and only a child with a death wish or a total moron of adult age would point a pellet gun at a cop or another armed person.

Evidence the AirSoft red tip requirements. Just because someone got shot in a dark room packing an airsoft that looked identical to a Glock, now we have red tip regulations.

When the time comes that the police can’t tell a pcp from a potentially fully automatic rifle, then regulation is sure to follow. Of course, it will be labeled as “…for the safety of the air gunner!”
Of course the cost of the AR upper is going to keep the kids away. So we probably won’t see anything come from this. But with today’s pcp power, large calibers, and styling, it’s getting vary hard for the uninformed to tell the difference as it is.

Slayer, I mean that it would blur the lines between airguns and powderburner. They are two different entities (at least in most states). Much less restrictions on airguns, i.e. where you can shoot them, ease of purchase, etc.
Just don’t think cross breading the two (as this M-4 option clearly does) is prudent for many reasons….

Don’t like the implications for obvious (those who know me) reasons. I think it is “tangible nail” into the virtual coffin of separation between airguns and firearms. Such a beast invites red tape regulations in the end…
