DAQ 308 ammo
30M1 bullet 110 grain and 115 grain round nose are suitable for the 308 rifle. Can I use any type of ammo as long as for 308 cal.?

DAQ recommended 115 or 130, is 140 too heavy? What about the velocity, will it start dropping at 100 yard?

Rob, have you tried any of Vogels cast .308 or .457? People are saying good things and I’d like to know if they are really much better shooting than the HS bullets.
The best ammo I’ve found for the DAQ 308 is the 115gr bullets from Hunter Supply or the 120gr unsized bullets from Barnes. Contact Jerry at jboyenga@md.metrocast.net for ordering the Barnes bullets.
I’ve recently dropped the power down on my DAQ 308 and am having fun shooting the Hornady .310 round balls. Dont even try these little 47gr balls at full power though. For a full power DAQ (stock DAQ) you’ll want bullets above 100gr.

Highway… are these not copper plated bullets? You don’t want to shoot anything copper plated from an air rifle. It will likely lodge in the barrel and will definately shoot at decreased velocity. The softer lead the better. Try to stay around 15 BHN or lower. Even the HS bullets are too hard IMO.
