Q:

Diablo withdrawl

I was going to sell my Royale 500 Carbine to rid myself of Diablo shooters.

However, I was offered a beuatufiul Rapid 2 in trade so I did that and have shot and sold it. So now I am without a Diablo shooterr.

In less than 2 weeks crows will be landing in a Doug fir at 80 yards from my window, last year maybe 12 died in that tree. The Haley while more than capable of killing them, and undoubtably the most effecient, has too much energy when it comes to earth so I have trouble using it and dealing with worry about where those bullets land.

I saw my first Tarantula a online auction site 3 years ago and fell in love with its lines, which as far as the rediculous lines of air guns, is classic at its best.

And I am Jonesing for a Tarantula grade 3 or 4.

In the vein of being a air gun cast bullet shooter, I want to embrace my classic wish for a truely classic rifle to kill those how do I say this eloquently? “Fucking loud crows with style”.

So I am looking.

I don’t like the idea of shooting things out of the tops of tres with a 25, too much energy coming down. I have even entertained the thought of using a 177 but it is for crows and 80 yards is the most common range.

I got tired of the Royale, the Rapid was getting close to giving me a hernia. It was beautiful, and really precise in accuracy but a couple trips to the target to paint it and that shit got old fast.

I have always loved the looks of the Tarantula, and actually I really don’t like the looks of 98% of airguns to tell the truth.

I’m sure i missed it somewhere RC as i’ve been busy at work and such.

But you GOT RID OF THE RAPID WHY and ARE JONESIN FOR A TARANTULA WHY?

I gotta ask this as i don’t understand getting rid of a FX then a Rapid and now going back to a FX 30 fpe gun again. WHY?!
