Did you see this (NEW)

AirForce Airguns

Your Thursday Sneak Peek!
AirForce will be introducing a new trigger group and safety at SHOT Show next week. The trigger is crisper and has less travel for cleaner shots while the new manual safety offers both the ability to set the gun to safe at any time.

Both the new trigger and the safety are designed for maximum quiet.

The new trigger group should start shipping on new guns starting in February.

Stay tuned here for more peeks and daily video and photo reports from SHOT 2013.

Disappointed ❓

Many have been disappointed for years but AF is getting into gear and copying some of our mods at an increasing rate.

Surprising to me is the copy of roachcreek’s extended frame. RC is the first one to get it right and they jumped on that idea.

A couple of us, me included, complained bitterly about the tank collar only having a 3/4 turn hold. I had Dave424? in UK make me a replacement collar and it helped timing an ETac without spacers and provided a couple turns of threads to hold the tank on. Before it was to easy to cross thread the tank and have a tank dump.
So, they improved the poorly designed tank collar by coming out with the spin lock a year or so ago. My new spin lock TT AAA .25 Condor actually takes about 5 1/2 turns to secure. I am very pleases with that.

It’s strange they haven’t addressed the poor ergonomics of the in-line tank. I have both an ETac and TalonTunes Angled Tank Adapter. They both do a good job but TalonTunes Adapter looks neater IMO. I think AF should redesign with a larger, adjustable regulated, 4500 psi tank on an angled adapter.

Tony of our beloved TalonTunes has a new offering coming up that will be a must have for those with limited budgets or just don’t want to carry more than one rifle on a long hunt. Click on the banner at the top of the page at least weekly to keep up on new releases. It just takes a couple seconds to check the front page for announcements and that doesn’t tie up Tony on the phone.

Yeah, I am, there is nothing great about that. I got one like that I will sell for 400.00, do you think they can match the price too.

Sunday Pre-SHOT Show Sneak Peek!

Here it is – the new CondorSS model. The CondorSS is based on the top selling Condor frame with an 18 inch barrel integrated with the new SuperShroud for maximum noise suppression. These will become available by mid-February.

Be sure to check back for our twice daily (at least!) SHOT Show video and photo reports. Like the page and add it to your favorites to make sure you don’t miss anything! We have industry veterans Paul Capello on video and Mike Zimmerman on photography so our reports are the same quality as our air rifles – amazing.

Anyone else disappointed? I was really hoping for something more, maybe Picatinny rails, a decent trigger, maybe a bullpup…. Oh well 😕

Charlie: if they come up with a gun that has a QUAILTY .257” barrel, a regulator, the new trigger, a rip off of Doug’s barrel mounts, hammer and valve, WOK’s trigger guard and pistol grip mount, they could come up with something that I might buy.

After 20 years of not shooting any air guns, I bought a Condor with a Talon valve. I sold it after I got my first Matador. Since then, I have been spending all of my time/money on Matadors and FX guns.

After following your, Doug’s and Cedric’s results, another Condor might be on my to buy list.

Gotta get the Boss working the way I want it to work first. If that doesn’t happen, a Doug modified Condor is next on the list IF Air Force doesn’t copy what you guys are doing.

I would just order a Haley but, the 3 useable shots would be hard for me to deal with while hunting ground squirrels.

I still think that there is a way to come up with a gun that can shoot a 45-60 grain low drag cast bullet, at 850-900 fps, get ½’ 5 shot 100 yard groups and get 20 regulated shots while doing it.

I find that I tend to be more wrong that right but, I keep trying.

Well I wonder where they got that idea.

Who knows maybe next year they will have it shooting cast bullets.

Regards,

Roachcreek

now you can have power and quite all in one out of the box package

+2!!!

ABOUT TIME :twak:

I wonder who they owe credit to for this change ❓

Now all they need to change is to add a angled tank adapter and an adjustable regulator to take airguns into the next century.

Hope they have done a good job. This has been needing attention from the first, shipped AF Guns.
