Q:

drawing or picture of kickass bullpup lets see’em

ok my bullpup idea is moving forward….just spent all the cash found in the car as i got none after my mill purchase….found a nice piece of 3/4″x2′-4′ birch laminate…gonna glue 2 or 3 together for a nice thikness

but im missing a kickass design to go with…the more spacey the better

its gotta hide the trigger group i the back…and theres gotta be room for trigger linkage, im gonna do a little shield as well to protect the shooters ear in the unlikely event of a o-ring blowing out…but thats about all

Thats looking good !

i guess i promised some pictures of my messy workshop…it is very messy…but wait theres more….its now very dusty as well

inletting done by milling a groove 3/4″….then with a piece of aluminum tubing wrapped with sandpaper, i sanded for an hour or so….my arms are beat….but its done

still alot of small finishing touches…..to the stock it self….plus are ll mechanics need to be sorted

yeah i know where all my stuff is too….

the most important is placed on top….magazines for the aa410, camcorder is lying on the sidedesk…and crowmagnums in .25 right by the monitor

and why is the camcorder not placed nicely upright….well the gorrilapods legs are bent for the kitchen windowsill….and ready to go with little adjustments 🙂

that’s a dam good lookin dog there in that moniter shot 😛 😛

not to mention the stock..

I’ll do the same. Looks like a grenades bin thrown in the place. But i know where every thing is, and its warm, so why worry eh ?

are u sure….have a closer look 😉

my workbench is the same way will grab pictures tomorrow..

Your computer desk looks like mine.

got some done today, the “2D” pars is allmost done….

now comes forming the whole stock ….it is too thick…so i have to reduce it some places….i whish i had a belt sander

TY BWM…..last night while machining the some of the stock….i sort of came to the same conclusion as the “machinist way”
thanks

Theres 2 ways of solving the problem:

The machinist way:

And the easy way, mu way:

Just bend the rod to go around the bolt

I want to get this gun running on HPA someday, but that would make it about 6 inches longer, which kind of defeats the purpose of a Bullpup. Handles and feels great. Don’t shoot CO2 much here in Colorado, but I just really like it. I would love to see someone selling Bullpup stocks for my TalonSS

Lorrin

i can see im gonna run into a problem with the screw that holds airtube in the stock…..its a bit in front of the trigger housing….and running a piece of rod from the front trigger to the rear one in a stright line is gonna interfere with that screw

hmmmm the plot thickens

project got started yesterday gluing 3 pieces of 3/4 thick birch lamite together

of course the floot was complete flat so the top piece moved a bit over night even with the scuba tanks on it grrrrr….still workable though

today i started taking some measurments….i wanted to keep the shoulder pad low contrary to the Bailkal….as i want the scope as close to the barrel and still be comfy, which means the airtube and all has to sit a bit high….also means i cant get the shape of the baikal 😥

here is my first sketch…enhanced it a little bit in paint….

thanks for the pyramid drawing there….makes sense…ill remove the first stage from the real trigger…and that be done up forward with a pyramid thingy

the Baikal design is till my favourite

Heres the Baikal MP-514 in PCP form:
