Just how many of you fellows develop a problem with you new gun just keep it quiet and between you and the dealer just to make things a bit more manageable. As soon as you bad mouth a dealer and you are asking him for him you have lost half of the battle right there. If you feel you have to post your heart away because you gun is not up to par then feel free to do so. I bet that really wants that dealer to help you out even more. I have had a couple of problems that ended up being very minor with a couple of my guns (PCP) and I never did mention it on the forum. Whey bad mouth the fellow that is going to help you make it right. Not good business. There are certain time when drastic measure have to be taken just be sure you know when to drop bombs.. they blow up in your face…

Yeah? Well those so and so’s treated me really well to! When I had a problem with my Monsoon after about 3000 shots I called those no goodnicks and they diagnosed the problem over the phone and then sent me a bunch of o-rings at their expense! The nerve! You’d think they appreciated my business or something crazy like that. I’ll tell you one thing, I’ll do business with them again, let’s see how they like them apples!
I just had a problem (Totally unusable) with a rather expensive item I purchased from a well known dealer that I want to share with all. And, I will mention the name because I want everyone to know how I was treated. I live in an area where having a scuba tank filled is inconvenient to say the least. I have been pumping for over three years now and I am damned tired of it. I don’t shoot nearly as much as I want to because of that. Well, I saw a ‘freight damaged’ compressor for sale from Aiguns Of Arizona, at a reasonable price, so I purchased it. When it arrived there were major problems. So, I contacted them and was given the green light to look inside to see if it was something that could be easily remedied and not have to be returned. When I did, what I saw was at best disappointing, actually it pissed me off. The add had misrepresented the condition of the product, and I was afraid I may encounter problems when I reported what I found. What actually occured could not have been further from a problem. I called and spoke with Robert and explained what I had found. As it turned out, the misrepresentation had not occured by A.O.A., rather by the manufacturer. He (Robert) was more than generous in his recommended solution and I was treated like a valued customer. All too often you hear of just the opposite with so many businesses; horror stories when someone tries to resolve a problem like this. I can’t speak for all of A.O.A.’s dealings with others but, the way they handled this situation with me, they were a class act!
If any of you out there are undecided about who to do business with, and I know there are others that are reputable as well, I hope this will help. Unless something changes they definitely have my future business with any service they can provide.

LMAO and to add to that, I do know quite a few radioactive individual/personalities but you it has to be the right person for me to take note of. Some fellow’s statements I take to heart and then there are the other.
Yup, Will, I guess that was the point I was trying to make. Some guys are just so radioactive that they don’t have to do much to raise dust.

Gaylord has been bashed for years now and in most cases well deserved. Posing as a second person and replying to your own articles says it all for me. Not credible and a nut job.
I have never had to deal with Mr Gaylord, so I have to stay out of it. Here we go bashing someone, and the topic was “Droppimg Bombs” and you just dropped one that I had only heard about.. just like now, I’m hearing about it !!! lol
Tom Gaylord is hysterical!
I busted him using and recommending Pellgun Oil on PCP which is a dangerous practice.
He claimed AF users had bad gauges on their fill stations and that the Condor valve was just fine.
He stopped using a Chronograph and could tell by the sound of the airgun what the velocity was.
The broken Quackenbush airgun blamed on Barnes was in Gaylords possession the entire time. But Barnes gets the blame for breaking the gun while we all know Gaylord disassembles every airgun he gets his paws on.
These are just a few of the things that makes people less then enamored with Mr. Gaylord/Pelletier. He is always good for a little laugh. 😀
Understood. I was not really referring to anyone in specific (although folks should feel free to volunteer of course), but there are guys that will not pass an opportunity to slam Crosman (usually promoting themselves in the process somehow) WRT shameless quality, not supporting their customers (although nobody seems to know of another maker with such cheap and available parts….) or being anything short of criminally incompetent when it comes to corporate performance (even if they, like AF, are producing a popular, competitive and successful product using American labor.
Likewise, I’ve seen vitrol spewed toward TG (whom I can take or leave, BTW) for topics far wide of AF guns and their support sometimes. Like the attack for his inexcusable ignorance of Carbine William’s critical support of the m1 carbine production efforts (crediting Winchester, no less!). Problem is, TG was right. “Carbine” was at the time an employee by Winchester elsewhere. The point is, for whatever reason, guys hate TG enough to let ‘facts’ from TV enter into their attack.
Sorta like Crosman.
I’m trying to suggest some objectivity is all. Try to judge stuff as it comes up based on what’s happening, not the names of the folks involved. At least get your facts straight firtst.

I’ve owned several crosmans (13xx and 22xx’s)… I like them, but got bored of pumping and CO2 isnt suitable for year round shooting where I live.
Mr Gaylord is another fellow I’ve dealt in an effort to resolve a problem during his tenure at AF. I tried to work things out with, but he refused to even acknowledge a problem so that situation is in compliance with my previous post.
Excellent ‘conversation’, IMO. I agree, sometimes folks can jump right to flaming someone without trying to resolve the issue or even look into it too deeply.
I think it’s good to stop and make a mental note to give the the guy a chance next time….unless it’s Crosman or Tom Gaylord, of course.

come to think of it……….for all the bitchin’ and moanin’ about PA and their lousy shipping, damaged pellets, lost guns, etc; I don’t beleive I can recall but maybe once when their CUSTOMER SERVICE didn’t in the end make everything right, sometimes even to the point of excess. Apparently despite the problems people occasionally have, They Care Too………Imagine that 🙄 🙄 🙄 Guess I might buy something from them again myself.
Anyone can look like a great seller when there are no issues and things are easy. What sets apart a GOOD ONE from the rest is how they handle the inevitable………shit happens to everyone including them.
