Eagle Vision Scope Cam mount-Hawke and Cricket
Hey gang,
I would really like to order one of the EagleVision camera mounts for my set ups. I’m tired of messing around with the cheezy Seben/Orion mount. Anyone ever order one directly from the manufacturer or somewhere besides AoA. I just cannot bring myself to order from these guys. Any help would be appreciated.
Thx,
Charlie

Really appreciate all the feedback, especially the PM’s! :8: :8:
Got me one too
I ordered the CCR-3 from Penchetta out of Arizona a dealer that is NOT AoA… It is in transit to me. Hope it works as good as I think it should. I love shooting with the scope cam, but that cheezy Sebin/Orion mount really spoiled it for me… just more trouble than it was worth. I will give it a whirl and post up a review.

So which one of you guys made this video?
The Hawke scope wouldn’t be my choice of optics using a $999 scope cam.
This March scope however is more along the lines.

I think it’s cool but it would be great if someone made one that didn’t require gluing. Every digital camera has a tripod screw on the bottom. If only someone utilized that instead of gluing on a tube like scope mount. I’m sure gluing is more secure but I don’t know about putting glue on a $300+ camera.
I agree. I came up with a simple work around that is not perfect but works good enough. Instead of gluing I use a couple of heavy rubber bands to hold the camera in the mount. The rubber bands can be slip knotted around the scope or around the eagle barrel. Electrical tape can be used to further stabilize the bands. Then just run them around the camera. It would not be ideal for hunting but for farm yard or back yard it works just fine. However, your suggestion to use the tripod screw with a bracket is the ideal fix.
How about just the part that would screw into scope. As his is just for Hawke sw
No eelect,
As it is an almost identical copy of an Eagle Vision, I have respect for it´s inventor and I do not intend to make any money with it, just for my personal use.

When I bought this mount,I knew I was going to use my Casio Exelim as a dedicated scope cam, so the gluing part wasn’t gonna bother me, as matter of fact you cant even tell there is a ring adapter glued to it.
I use it mostly to spot pellet spiral shots.

Well gang, USPS FINALLY delivered my Eagle Vision scope cam adapter set. Typical of USPS “Express 2 day” shipping they delivered it 4 days LATE. I asked about a refund for the postage… Was told they “try” to deliver in 2 days, but don’t “guarantee” it… Is OBAMA the PostMaster Too?!! or is the postmaster just taking orders from him? :angrymob: :angrymob: :angrymob: :angrymob:
In any case, it arrived in perfect condition, and upon unpacking it, my first impressions are it is VERY well made in fit and finish. I can see already it will take me a while this evening when I get home and begin the process of putting it on my gun, it will take some redneck figgerin’ to get done. Sucker has literally a sack full of parts. It even came with that little smart phone adapter. After I get a chance to play with it this weekend, I will give a report on it, but I expect it to work just fine. One thing I may have to do is get some adjustable scope mounts to really center the crosshair in the field of the camera with the mounts instead of the turret, but I’m going to try it with the mounts I have on my scopes first…
More later, but so far, I’m impressed with it.
