EdGun .30

.30 standards and long are being assembled in Estonia now. They will be sent to EU customers next week. For US customers I wait Lelya, Veles, Morana to be assembled, just got barrels for them. Hope it will happen at the end of May, then I will send alltogether.
The changes I did to R3 .30.
1. Heavier hammer.
2. Metal valve.
3. Closed filling port with the cup.
4. New design of moderator
5. New design of the frong breech.
I have few unreserved lnog and standards in caliber .30 now, so those who wants them contact Tony.
That is 78 meters, standard EDgun Matador R3 (single shot), 885 f/sec, pellet JSB 2.9 grams. Power of the gun enough to tore off the wing of seegull (quite a big bird).
Sorry bros was in Wisconsin (Mother’s Day and planning PDog hunt) and just got home yesterday late. I gots the standard 30 Eddy and it is my goto airgun for our raccoon issue. 😀 I have it set at 875 FPS and 75 FPE. It is very accurate and packs a wallop. The big muffler makes it one of my quietest PCPs except when that pellet impacts. Ricochets can sound like a .22LR at times. I have a lot of acres of woods in and behind my backyard but I would not recommend it for a typical subdivision at that energy level. It destroys everything like feeders quickly. I do clean the barrel relatively frequently compared to smaller calibers. 30 shots is about right for the standard. A few folks had the valve stems break around 1000 shots but mine is over double that so far. I don’t plink with the 30 cal like I do with the Cricket Compact .177 which is newer yet now has over 7500 shots on it.
I didn’t know more were on the way.
:hoot:
I would like to have a .30 also. I don’t understand why they are so expensive, over .25 calibers. There’s not that much difference in design.
A simple single shot would be fine.

You good bruh, look at this for a couple hours and you’ll feel better

I go nutz Everytime I hear FX bobcat. I think of zonk shooting his in that gimp suit gooner makes him wear.
Hell I heard zonks his butler too, you know what English dudes make the butler do ????
Well now you’ve done it…just rolled over on my back and pee’d all over myself. That’s what I call 38 love and match points.
I never had a cricket in .25 but if things work out i might have that also. I wanted the Vulcan but it was hard to find a dealer who had it in stock!
I only have a .22 cricket now which is good but i do miss the thomp .25 did. So i went for .30 to get more thoooomp. We will see if it was a misstake!
hi linkan, why did you order one – was your 0.25 not enough? ❓
Ok back to topic. I just ordered a .30
Lets hope it will bring me joy! 🙂

I think it would be worth it. My only pause would be some of the reported issues with the valve.
I think a .30 would serve me better now that I live in the country. Should make a fine bobcat calling rig!
Speaking of Bobcats, I saw a review on the Bobcat .30 MK2 and it was reported that 65 shots were achieved on a fill. Was this comment the results of some illicit narcotics or could this be possible. Seems far fetched as even with the regulator, long air tube and a low setting for energy, this does not compute. Maybe he mixed this up with a .25 cal. If true, I want one, if false, I want some of whatever this guy is taking and then I could defy the laws of physics too.
Not those bobcats!!!!!!!!!!!
These ……………..

Ed, what is the optimal speed for standard and long? How many shots can I obtain from them at optimal speed? What about their lengths?
