Speaking of Bobcats, I saw a review on the Bobcat .30 MK2 and it was reported that 65 shots were achieved on a fill. Was this comment the results of some illicit narcotics or could this be possible. Seems far fetched as even with the regulator, long air tube and a low setting for energy, this does not compute. Maybe he mixed this up with a .25 cal. If true, I want one, if false, I want some of whatever this guy is taking and then I could defy the laws of physics too.
On the accuracy department is very close to my cricket .25 but the Edgun dopes the air much better.
Do you know what the current retail price is? I have a memory of a memory that it cost quite a bit more than a .25 caliber, which seems odd since it’s a single shot with a slightly larger bore. Is .05 thousandths of an inch worth an extra $500 cost??? Perhaps it’s less…perhaps I’m wrong.

No kidding on the 30. I had a bobcat .30. It hit critters just as hard as my .22 LR. I put the .30 in rimfire category. The Lelya is the perfect backyard gun.
I can guarantee one thing about the .30. No manner what it can do pippo will complain about it even if he has never seen one.

I would offer this, “Not recommended for backyard or urban shooting.” My .25 has 1 vinyl fence post, a neighboring garage wall and my lawn umbrella pole to it’s credit, resulting from pass through shots @ quail and collared dove. 😳 Uhhhh, is there such a thing as over kill??? I may be trying to justify another purchase but it’s looking like a guy needs at least 3 different calibers. 😉
0ne thing I can say…the .30 will definitely handle the wind better…a big bonus @ longer ranges, as demonstrated by my buddies .30 Bobcat. I’m finding windage is my bitch, all other things considered. If you need to validate your purchase, there you go. Place the order :8:

It’s a single shot, very accurate, and hits like a sledgehammer. Seems like it carries about 75 FPE at the muzzle. That’s what I know from what I read and watching the videos of it in action when Ed took it hunting.
It would be a fun gun to use for general hunting and bench shooting. You could take down a deer with a head shot easily. Same for hogs and large dog sized game. Pellets are made by most of the big name makers…JSB, etc…

I have one on order. I could not find much information on it. Secoda is the only board member I know that has one. He said it is more quiet than the .25. Other than that I know very little. I figured I would gamble on one.
I’d like to know whats the 0.30 edgun like in terms of accuracy, reliability, air usage, overall usability compared with the 0.25. Big pellets for my fat fingers.

Hoot I paid almost $2000 for the gun, I have no idea how much Tony is charging for them now but I heard Ed was going to build some more but that was long time ago.
