You have a lot of merit in the distance as far away as you have chosen a lelya .
As owner of a Lelya in 4.5mm I already had the certainty saw the results I had.

What is your preference between 0.20 and 0.22 with the lelya?

I thought all EDguns were supposed to be filled to max pressure of 220 bar. Ed once posted however that PCP guns were more efficient at lower pressures. I have noticed that for example I get more shots from 200-180 bar than I do from 220-200 bar. This would validate Ed’s point. So I figured on days where I am going to shoot from the bench a lot it makes sense for me only to fill to 200 in order to save my main tank. Hunting is a different situation. Hope this explains my logic

i usually start from 220 bar for my matadors…. some times 110 bar,,,,

I just noticed something else about your shot string that made sense to me. You are starting at 237 bar. I fill my gun at 200 bar. That would account for the missing shot count.

I didn’t realize you had adjusted the gun to shoot faster. I also didn’t realize that the .20 cal is typically less efficient than the .22 cal. I learn something new everyday 😀
RA the .20 was designed to shoot 18 foot pounds. I’m pushing 20. I gave up shot count for accuracy and a little more flat shooting. 2 foot pounds doesn’t seem like much but it’s the difference between 805 fps and 760 fps. That a big difference. For me gaining 4 shots wasn’t as important as being able to shoot flatter and tighter.

if im not mistaken. ….usually. 22cal guns will get more shot count than .20 cal with the same air reservoir. …

Romeo what is your shot count? I have gotten as high as 28 but I am a little OCD about my SD and ES. Past 18 shots the ES begins to open to 12. If I was ok with an ES of 12 then I could get 25 shots.
Very impressive shooting skills as always Keyser. You should be able to get a better shot count as my .22 is getting a higher shot count with more FPE. I also agree that the tone of the Lelya is much different than the Matador and it could just be the tone of the gun that makes it sound quieter.

Happy to see that the Lelya V2 is a much better gun.
No the hobby ain’t getting any cheaper and one day you will realize that your new and latest buy actually doesn’t do much more the others you had already did.
You will also realize that less guns you have the more you fall in love with them and actually one or two is already enough to keep your hobby going (but obviously everybody is completely free to enjoy his hobby the way he best likes it).
You will have surprises when realizing what the second hand value of your toys is and you will say “Man this was really an expensive hobby”.
There will be R4, R5 and R6, it will never end (me personally I’m no longer on hurry to get the latest one).
