Q:

EDgun Leshiy Scope Choices (pics)

I decided to start a new thread where users could post photos of their scope choices on the Leshiy. The gun is so compact it really begs to have a scope that is in line with ED’s concept of a forest walking gun.

It’s the same money as a non-illuminated March 1-8 or 1-10. Why would you buy the NF over a March? The NF has a 100 yd parallax too. Unless you’re at 2.5x it might be hard to get a sharp imagine inside of 25 yds for precision shooting.

I think I may have found my new Leshiy Scope:

Tac Vector and March 1-10×24

Anyone else find the illuminated ret unusable on the Vector.
Even on the lowest setting the ret becomes blurry and impossible to see the target.

Damn! Nice man, look forward to your YT videos :8:

How on earth you got all 6????? You need to share and send me a long .177 immedialery, LOL. With kit of course! 😀

But seriously… can’t wait for your test!

More Barrel, more Fun, and the price is also ok, lol
I’m thinking about to get a 9mm barrel directly from LW.
The only ding wat jo must do is drill the shroud inset larger, but with the small air reservoir you got may by 5-8 schots.

But for now i be working hard to get my review videos done.
Barrel testing form 50 75 100 and 150 Yard and also noise measurement of all barrels.

My true scope for the Leshy will be the same as the on my Lelya the C-More Modell X10 1-10×24

73,3cm I think, that’s around 28,9″

The sidewinder isn’t a petite scope and that setup looks quite long. How long is a Leshiy with 350mm barrel/shroud like that?

Really, really nice pictures, guys!

To check the Pallet flight (with the Slow mo Cam) off all 6 Barrels i have mounted the Hawke Sidewinder on the Leshiy.
With the 250 mm Barrel it looks like “more Scope than Gun” but with the 350mm barrel i think its ok

I’ve seen this concept before and i tlooks really coo… but the current design (raised LDC) is needed to allow for the air cylinder to close correctly for overall flat package when folded. Plus bigger capacity of LDC makes it really quiet. It’s not a problem to get a proper mount, actually most of 1-piece mounts are perfect for scoping Leshiy with anything up to 40mm objective bell. So I raise it as a remark / hint, not a problem. I vastly favor quiet muzzle report vs. saving $5-10 on a lower mount…

I’ve pointed this out before. The Leshiy is a cool concept but Ed lately has been on an eccentric LDC craze and overlooked the complications of scoping the Leshiy. Had he design it like the proposed bottom pic, scoping options would go through the roof without getting XXX-high rings.

Oh, just one important remark regarding scopes (other than AR-scopes without actual objective bell) -> in case of Leshiy scope rings should be one step higher than what you’d use on classic airgun / rimfire / AR rifle. Note that the objective bell has to be above LDC housing and not just above weaver rail as it usually is. My HAWKE is a good example – on any other airgun I’d use medium rings and on Leshiy I had to put high rings, otherwise the paralax ring would not fit above the LDC section.

A Vortex 2.5-10X32 isn’t a big scope but looks disproportionately large on the Leshiy. AR type scope looks best on it but a 1-8x or 1-10x is insanely expensive.

You know Piter, following your photos is like entering a singing contest with Beyonce
