edgun matador r3 long .25 expert needed!
any ideas about who can professionally tune edguns in US? I am eager to do it myself but I ‘d rather have someone else tuning and adjusting it without damaging or … Any input would be helpful. I own two r3 long in .22 and .25. The .22 was set around 905 out of box and it ‘s great the way it is but the .25 is shooting hot around 980 or so. I know that there are great answers and by pros here but I ‘m really wondering if there is anyone that gets the majority votes?

Foxback,
The air tube measures 31 1/2″ OA including the screw on end cap that protects the air gauge.
The length between the front of the Regulator end and the inside face of the front plug is 19 1/2″. The long air tube is listed as having a volume of 388 ccm.
The OD of the air tube is 1.440 OD and the ID is 1.195″.
If you want to buy a Matador air tube for a project, you might be better just buying the air tube, front plug and end cap. You could cut the hammer block mounting area off and the modified air tube would then be somewhere around 29β OA length after you had a new rear plug made. The 29β OA length includes a rear projection, on the rear plug for internal/external threading of your choice. A new rear plug would also give you at least another 4β in length of internal volume.
