Q:

edgun matador r3 long .25 expert needed!

any ideas about who can professionally tune edguns in US? I am eager to do it myself but I ‘d rather have someone else tuning and adjusting it without damaging or … Any input would be helpful. I own two r3 long in .22 and .25. The .22 was set around 905 out of box and it ‘s great the way it is but the .25 is shooting hot around 980 or so. I know that there are great answers and by pros here but I ‘m really wondering if there is anyone that gets the majority votes?

Foxback,

The air tube measures 31 1/2″ OA including the screw on end cap that protects the air gauge.

The length between the front of the Regulator end and the inside face of the front plug is 19 1/2″. The long air tube is listed as having a volume of 388 ccm.

The OD of the air tube is 1.440 OD and the ID is 1.195″.

If you want to buy a Matador air tube for a project, you might be better just buying the air tube, front plug and end cap. You could cut the hammer block mounting area off and the modified air tube would then be somewhere around 29” OA length after you had a new rear plug made. The 29” OA length includes a rear projection, on the rear plug for internal/external threading of your choice. A new rear plug would also give you at least another 4” in length of internal volume.

according to my measurements, it ‘s thirty five inches or less. The length makes it easier to carry and maneuver. That ‘s just me…

I have a question for you guys also.
I’m looking into the Edgun long also, so how long is the bullup?

Thanks. πŸ˜€

Where is this place? What ‘s the shipping fee to send it out to Bermuda Triangle? but I think UPS has Bermuda Triangle insurance and it ‘s only guarantied 50/50! πŸ˜†

Ted; Mam disappearing into the Bermuda Triangle might be about right!

Mam and I used to PM, email, call each other all of the time. I haven’t heard from him in over a year. The last I heard from him, he was getting back heavily into RC air planes.

In the last year, I have tried calling him a bunch of times and I can never get him to answer.

He just might have built a RC plane big enough for him to get into it and then tried to fly it to Cuba!

Knowing Mam, he made it and Castro JR currently has him locked up as a US spy! 😯 πŸ˜†

Agreed – Tedd has cemented himself as “THE guy”.
Mamcrackin used to be a worthy competitor, but he disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle a year ago.

That ‘s great. I ‘d like to get some help from him.

The one to ask is OldGoat !!! πŸ˜€

Nobody even close to him in this field !!!!

Cheers πŸ˜€
