Q:

Edgun Spares ———–> No Response @ Two Months

Hi Ed,

Its been a month I have been following up on the spares. I wrote to Tony initially, as the Veles was bought from him. Tony has been very prompt in replying to me and informing me that the request has been forwarded to the manufacturer for the quote.

The first mail I had sent to Tony was on the 1st September and many follow up post that. last I heard from Tony was to follow up from the manufacturer.

I still haven’t received a quote for the spares I had requested.

So tying to reach you Ed, I did post on the below feedback link too.

All I got was a response that you would look into it.
That was a week back.

I have spent about $3000 in Edgun, but what is the use if we cannot get spares for our guns ???

Trust me, I had to sacrifice a lot of my other stuff to spend this amount in your products. I am really set back with the poor response.

l am hoping that you would see this thread and reply.

Hang in there.

Remember this is a one owner business, and he doesn’t have thousands of support and service staffs that most multi-national manufacturers have on hand. I get the impression he closely controls his operation in its entirety to ensure quality. Ed is living proof that sometimes “slow” is equal to “quality”.

In my checking into all things Edgun, he sells to several countries around the world. He’s possibly the only company I heard of that limits his representatives to one man per country outside of Russia, and he sells to few countries outside of Russia. The biggest complaint I have run across is in many countries shooters want an Edgun, but can’t buy one.

If you are lucky enough to be able to buy one, even then the wait can take two to three months.

You will get your parts. I don’t doubt that for a minute. But you will probably get them when Eduard can work you into his schedule.

Frustrating I know. But remember this is essentially a very expensive, highest quality, hand-made rifle, in a quite small business in Eastern Europe. Nothing in this situation is going to happen in a matter of days, or even weeks.

But….the product is worth the wait.

Hoot 😯

PS: The one or two times I’ve seen a post on a malfunction in an Edgun, response has been quite fast. I’ve never heard of one that has actually broken. Not many PCPs can brag about that.

Couple of them Adam.
The Springs and some other wear and tear parts….
Cant explain all, the manual is in Russian Language…
However I have circled my requirement from the pictures in video, and sent them….

Just curious, what parts do you need?

Yes Thats Correct, I want to buy spares for my Edgun.

I understand that it may take time for production, but I expect the manufacturer to reply with wait time and cost for the items I had requested.

This has been one of my most expensive purchase and I expect the service also to be at par.

I have sent more than 20 e-mails by now and still don’t have the availability details and figures.

Every day I come back from work expecting a reply, but all in vein 🙁

Hey Mistman,

You wanted to buy spare parts for you EDgun gun (s)? Is that what you mean?
