Edgun Standard .30 Cal – Squirrel #7
I drilled this guy straight through the shoulders to see what it would do. It dropped like a rock with a big hole through it. The 30 does a nice energy transfer. Sparrow count is up somewhere north of 40. I had a good day yesterday. One bad hit to the bird feeder bottom tray because a sparrow was sitting in it and I couldn’t resist. 😳

I don´t know anything about ground squirrels – never seen one. We don´t have those here. Our tree Squirrels are totally harmless little buggers that do no harm as long as eating Fir Tree Cones and minding your own business isn´t regarded harmful . Squirrel skin was used as a method of payment long time ago though …
I personally shot Alvin, Theodore, and Simon many times. 😀 My next door neighbor eats the tree squirrels.
Maybe I have to take some pictures of the destruction they have done to my property. The tree squirrels are ok, but the ground squirrels do not belong in my property or some one else farm land. They just caused too much headache!! Next time I will have to trap them alive and ship to Ville and Ed. How may thousands of cute fury disease carrying squirrels do you want? JohnP

Here too but we kill them by the tens of thousands. 😯 I guess they consider chipmunks and cotton tails cute here but we shoot them too. 😳

I’ve heard that before. Here they are overpopulated and can be destructive. They are considered a pest in some states with no limit. We have a limit of 20 in my state but they are considering making them a pest. The fishing lure company buys their tails by the thousands to make Mepps famous fishing lures. 😀
I bet ground squirrels get shot by the millions every year. 😯

Different culture 🙂 out kids would kill anybody who makes any harm to squirels 🙂 In Russian tradition squirels are cute and very welcome anymals 🙂

You guys are weird. Eating Squrrels and all. Those crazy Icelanders eat rotten Shark though so there are weird things going on in Scandinavia too.
