Q:

EDgun video

Dear friends,

I know that I had to make a lot new videos for my guns long time ago, but due to different problems I failed to do it. Good news, next week my representative from Argentina Francisco will come to stay with me for a months so we will have time to make a lot of different videos about the guns. As I explained before many things regarding the guns are seem to me so obvious that I am surprise that it is not well known bay rest of people. I know I am wrong that is why I need you help in making the list of the theme I have to make video for, even minor things. Just give me a clue 🙂

Thank in advance,

Ed

Very helpful. Keep them coming.

At the end of the video you spent some time discussing shooter capabilities. I see gun movement as much more a function of shooter situation then abilities. Bench rest with sand bags, off hand, off the hood of a truck etc.

Thank you for the extra effort. It is much appreciated…..

Yes,,,very useful and i became to know more about the versions of Matadors ,,,, this time i will definitely go to buy either a Lelya or Short one… God Willing, ,,

Thanks Eduard for the vid ,,,can’t wait for your next vid…

Thank you, guys! I will work carefully with all your offers and expect many hours to make video but I do hope it will be helpful for all of you. As for Morana, I am in Holland now and on Satarday there will be EDgun day where we with Joost will present Morana to people here. I will try to make a report about it.

Keep going on with the ideas about video!

It would be great if you can provide detailed info and a video on the differences between the 3 sizes in each caliber, something that will be like a buyer’s guide. I had a hard time deciding whether to buy the long or standard .25 R3M Matador and finally went for the standard without really understanding whether I did the right choice or not. Below info would have been great:
– Shot count/charge.
– Muzzle velocity of each for best accuracy and how they are adjusted originally.
– Difference in accuracy/grouping.
– Effective range

How to do minor adjustments to the muzzle velocity, how to tighten/loosen the hammer spring?

Hi Ed,

i second on that for the .22, when i bought my matador i was going for the long one .22 thinking of long range shooting but they didn’t have any ready so i got the standard .22 r3m. (i was convinced when i saw your video shooting with the standard matador on 230m 😯 )
– highest speed for .22 with pellets stability on long rang (150m+) using jsb 18 grains
– how to adjust hammer/regulator combination for this speeds.
– how often should we clean the barrel and what is the best way to do it.

thank you Ed for your time

Before buying my .25 standard matador, I sent you several emails and posted several posts on the edgun forums and never got a reply from you, earlier you used to be much more responsive to our inquiries.

Hello Ed

Im Ed from holland and im one off the people that has been asking you for new videos. I have been dieing to see some new videos. What im mostly interested in is the morana (i have to work the day you come overhere, slave to the money i m afraid).
I have the following suggestions.
-A breakdown video of the morana.
-The difference between the triggersystem in the morana and the matador.
-Accuracy up to 100 meters with the morana (please shoot some groups, not just one shot).
-Accuracy and impact diffrence between different caliber pellets (also morana).
-Future plans, what are you working on (maybe not such a good ideer with all the copycats out there).
-What kind off stocks can we expect for the morana, please show some models.
-And of course some good old fasshion shotstrings from the morana.
-Can we expect different sizes in the morana (longer barrels, reservoirs, etc).

Like i said, these are just some suggestions, i dont expect you to meet all these criteria. I would like to add that, i think its great youre asking us what we would like to see, i cant think of any other manufacturer that has done this.

Great idea. You are wise to recognize that new owners may not have the history or knowledge of your longtime customers. And you certainly want many, many new customers. :winkn:

Shot consistency is a big deal for all of us. Tell us how to correctly balance the regulator and hammer spring tension for the two or three most common pellets for each model and caliber. Then show me how to do it myself — step by step.

And tell me which O rings need to be regularly maintained, and how to do it.

This information is generally “out there” but often model specific or outdated. And we want to hear this from The Man Himself.

I am sure your videos will do this. I applaud it and will make good use of it. And it will give prospective customers the confidence to make that big step up to world class guns.

Hi Ed,

A bit cheeky in the bull pup section of the forum  , but how about more video info on the Veles pistol and the Morana rifle (both of which have my interest)
A strip down/rebuild of these like the very informative Matador/Lelya ones you produced a while back would fire up a good deal of interest in these models I think.

What does the rest of the TAG think ?

The Cad

Great idea Ed. I am sure your efforts will be much appreciated.

I have seen some videos and discussion on adding a ldc, venting the shroud, scotch brite in shroud etc. It would be great to get your thoughts and suggestions on this topic. I have been reluctant to make any changes to my guns and input from you would be helpful. Even if you feel that modifications should not be made, that would be very helpful.

PS My new R3M is flawless. I just cant stop shooting it.

Thank you, I think most of the questions can be answered by new videos. Any more ideas?

Ed

Thanks for the effort Ed, much appreciated.
How about a video that covers adjusting a two screw trigger setup? I think many here would appreciate some guidance on this.

Best regards, Mike
