Edgun vs Talon
Other than being able to dig potatoes with the stock or hang from a tree limb.. does the edgun offer and advantage over the talon?

If I wanted something mainsteam, I’d have ordered something mainstream. Risk?…Yep!
So how is the shot count?
It being from Russia, at 1500.00 us, I would expect a repeater, and a stock to be made of a high quality synthetic rather than painted wood.
Now just how comfortable can the cheek weld be with the loading port an cold action under you face in the dead of winter.
Bull pups are notorious for being light in the muzzle, making for difficult off hand accurate shooting. In put?
With it being from Russia, at this price point, compared to the euro and lb. to the US dollar, I would expect it to be VASTLY superior to the rapid. Is it?
How about the warranty net work.
It is a good looking gun for a bull pup. But there are a lot of questions about this gun. Especially when a top shelf gun like the Rapid can be had for very little more. With a Proven track record.

Can you get a bipod onto it? How about improving the moderator (I heard that it was good, not great)?
Yea Tron a bipod is very easy to mount. When you get yours go to the second rib back from the front of the stock and drill a pilot hole for an Uncle Mikes sling screw stud. Center you bit so it hits the second rib back. Insert your stud and install the Harris.
Another way is the FX bipod clamp from AoA. Works well too.
The Edgun is quiet but with the mod it Condor mouse fart ……you know what I mean.
I was hesitant when I first viewed the Russian made bullpups. But this Edgun is all it is said to be, and more.
I ordered a second stock to play around with and customize.
Tip – Buy the very best scope you can afford for this gun and go with medium to high Pictanny style rings. I mounted a Bushnell 6-24 x 50 Tactical 4200 scope. Excellent optics for an excellent rifle.

Tony Rudenko imports them, they are going for $1549, including shipping to your door. trudenko@yahoo.com
The Edgun is a marvel, but trying to compare a 1500.00 airgun to a 500.00 does not make much sense at all and for 1500.0 perfection is expected.
I would like to see if they could design an Edgun to say give 30 regulated 60 ft lb shots or offer a .25 version for that 100 yard hunting where you need to buck the wind with 25 plus grain projectiles around 960 – 1000 fps.
But even with only 30 to 35 ft lbs of energy on tap its deadly
on feathers out to 100 yards and is an fantastically accurate airgun.

Been away for a while guys.. Whats all the fuss about the edgun? What velocity in .22 ??
And where do you get them? who sells them?
Talon might hold its own on a five shot string, but over say 10 or more the regulator in the edgun will give it the edge every time.
Plus it looks dead good….
From the title I was expecting to see a shoot out video… sorely dissapointed 😀

My mower deck height is set on “Dirt”..I will have plenty time. lol
Gonna give you guys a warning: Get your yard work and all other projects done now. When you get your Edgun, all of your free time will be taken.
Speaking of…. When are you expecting yours? I thought you got in on an earlier shipment than I but Tony mentioned early October.

You could tweak that moderator mod and get them ready for when we
get ours….
