Q:

Edgun wins at 100 m competition

Heartiest congratulations to our Belgian friend Kazz :thumb: for scoring the highest 292 pts at the Dutch Indoors 100 m Competition today.

I’m also very happy because second place with equal points (292) took a rifle that I happen to own as well, a BSA Lonestar 6.35 (.25) 😀

Great shooting Kazzz. Were these JSB 15.9 and what speed?
Regards,
Endo

Got my eddy back and did some training..
This was the best today..

A 5 shot group at 100m or 110 yards:

This is 15mm or 0.5905″ and without the 1 “flyer” even les! Sub 10mm or 0.3937″

Then a 10 shot group, best is 111 (10×11), I got 102:
-4×11 = 44
-4×10 = 40
-2×9 = 18
SuM = 102

I’m very happy with the resulst!!

JSB 16 grains in the 920’s fps.. I guess, that’s what Joost said the speed was approx..

Another strange thing: when this one reaches 130 bar, the pressure the reg is set on, the velocity drops instant. First shot is half a mildot lower, second almost a mildot etc…
With my matador the velocity goes UP for a number of shots! Strange 🙂

And thanks, Zoco! 🙂

I think that is brilliant shooting my friend !!!! 😯 😀

New gun, new “trigger feel” and yes + 10 yds matter ……

Veeery well done indeed !!! 😀

What pellet ????

Cheers
Trygve 😀

So what I did is this:

I removed the first stage almost completely (just have less then a 10th of a mouse click 🙂 ) and turned in the 2nd stage screw completely, because this gave me a lighter 2nd stage…
When I turn the spring too far out, the gun will not cock anymore.
Now I seem not to get a crisp trigger as light as it should be.. Any comments?

The groups were not bad at all on the other hand.. But with a lighter trigger, they could be better!!! This was my best at 100m or 110 yards (and yes those extra 10 yards make things more difficult):

A quick question, because after work I go to the shooting range and here at work I cannot see the movies of Ed..

The trigger wheight is only adjusted by the spring in front of the triggerhouse?
The 2 screws is only to make the 1 and 2nd stage longer or shorter, yes?

yes, you need to unscrew whole trigger and to make shorter or longer rod that connect trigger with cockin mehanism to adjust trigger weight.
but with second screw on trigger you can fine adjust second stage of trigger.

He gave me his Eddy to let me train and shoot for the competition in 2 weeks while mine is in for service.

Just cleaned the barrel, 4 boresnake VFG rifle cleaner patches later :)..

Tomorrow test fire at the range and adjusting the speed and trigger..

😯

Where did you find her ????

😀

I have a very special guest at my place..
I’m going to test him tomorrow because my Eddy is at service.. (barrel came loose over and over again).. So I got this one to test and shoot the 12/10 at the Dutch competition..

Veeeery nice !!!! 😀

And me and my Eddy at an outdoor shoot last Sunday:
