Edgun wins at 100 m competition
Heartiest congratulations to our Belgian friend Kazz :thumb: for scoring the highest 292 pts at the Dutch Indoors 100 m Competition today.
I’m also very happy because second place with equal points (292) took a rifle that I happen to own as well, a BSA Lonestar 6.35 (.25) 😀

You guys are making fun now but I was actualy thinking of making a pipe of about 1m² of 50m undergrond 🙂
But it will not be very soon so.. Have to cope with the weather 🙁
Edit: and no, my wife fully support me now in this “shooting” thing 🙂 In America, guns and stuff are very common, here in EU you’re almost a terrorist if you own a gun, even an airgun 🙁
Trygve, I have been shooting 100 yard targets at night when the wind dies down. It is starting to get too cold here to do it accurately. I find it hard to get a steady sight picture when I am shivering! It figures, I have finally found a flashlight, small enough to mount on my Matador that is way more than bright enough to light the targets.
There is a 50 yard indoor range about 40 miles from me but, it isn’t heated.
Kazzz, if your 100 yard indoor range is going to be heated, you better add another 2 bedrooms, one for me and one for Loco! If Hoot isn’t allowed in the house, he can sleep in the garage. If he is allowed in the house, he damn sure isn’t sleeping with me! You will either have to build another bedroom or Hoot will have to make arrengements with Loco! 😆
A house with a 100 m indoor shooting range in the basement I suppose….?

I ordered a R3 but I didn’t liked that much the new design..
Now I saw them IRL, it’s much better then I expected, but on the other hand, they are again 400€ more expensive (around 600 or 700$ extra) and that’s not worth for me the money.
I just bought a piece of land with my wife and will now start building a house on it. That’s where my money will be going to the next few years 🙂
ps. the land is +- 150m long, that’s 165 yards..

And Dutch, – forget it… Very similar to Norwegian in many ways, – but you get a soar throat from trying to speak it. Flemish is better as you don’t have those throat killing sounds…..

And I don’t think so.. Dutch or Flemish, it’s almost the same, is a Germanic language.
But we have some similar words like bal or ball, tennis, wind, …
On the other hand, we also speak as flemisch also French and a bit German. Those are our 3 national languages.
But almost everyone speaks English too! So.. don’t worries, we’ll understand each other!
Ca fait longue temps maintenant que j’ai pas parlez Francaise. J’ai fait mes etudes en France en 1968, mais j’ai presque tout oblié. Un jour je vais revenir pour savoir si c’est possible de me debrouiller…. !

OK, if I ever get out your way, could we understand each other? I work with a guy that is a recent transplant from Wales. He informs everybody that he is not British. He is a Welshman!
If I can get him to slow his speech down, I can understand his accent. His cuss words are different than ours. My favorites are wanker and dog dangly bits!
