Etac-Reg with 47 ci Tank

Hi there. I have been reading this forum for a while. I purchased a .25 Condor from Tony’s with most of the mods. I also purchased 3 Etac-Regs from Jim. To make them work I found a tank that would be bigger and also keep it the same length with the reg. I had to put 18×1.5mm threads in the tank to keep it all the same. After seeing pictures of the Wok butt I decided that I would make something similar. The only reason I didn’t purchase one is I needed 4. I do have a Wok Guard. So I made some disc’s and JB welded them to the end and made all the other pieces. I also modified the regs so the fill and the gauge are oppisite sides. Then I shimed them so they all clock in the right place. I made a jig to turn down shims in the lathe to the right diameter. Also made them for the valve because of the muliple tanks reclocking the gun won’t work. Now I just need to get out and figure out what it shoots on 2000, 2300, and 2500 regs on different pellets. It shoots 43 gr at just over a 1000 fps.

I like it. I have had it for 5 years. The biggest problem is PA does not support Logun anymore. It has a lot of o rings and they are all metric. I had a small leak and trying to figure out the size of a o ring that has had 3000 psi pushing on it for a long time was fun. There is also at least 1 that you can’t even buy. Custom made. It shoots kodiac’s at 900 fps. I also extended the the shroud and had Tim at Mac 1 make a 21″ barrel for it. Tried contacting Logun(Webly) and they won’t even return my emails. That’s why I bought a condor. Simple with a lot of support from a lot of people. I do like the 16 shot mag. It is real quiet also.

How do you like the logun 16, how does it compare to the AF rifles?

Thanks. I only have 1 Condor so far. I have another frame I want to send to Walter and have it threaded. I have 4 tanks and 3 Etac-Regs. I bought 3 because I wanted to run one on my brothers and mines Logun S-16. Turns out reg does nothing for the S-16. I found stainless shims at McMaster-Carr that are 1.375 OD x .875 ID I took a piece of aluminum and turned a .875 step. Then turned the outer diameter to the size of the valve. Then I put a hole in the center with threads. Next I made a cap that fit over the step and put a hole in the center so it could be bolted together. Put the shims in it and turned them down to match the OD. I have .002 .004 and .006 shims. I made another to do the same thing for the reg to Etac. Same shims just smaller OD.

Posting pictures had me stumped for a month or so. You have to get regestered in Photbucket, it is free. Then you look up in the reference section on how to post pictures.

So once your in photobucket, you download the pictures from your camera, then you start a post here on the TAG, go back to photbucket, highlight the image code wit your cursor, come back to your post and do a control V and you have your picture, no copying codes or anything like that.

Sounds like you have either a shitload of AF rifles or a bunch of tanks. I have considered turning down the front valve ring on my tanks to time them, just remove some metal until they index where I want them. Right now I have the collars indexed and dremeled a flat spot on the collar for the screw to snug up against.

The WOK Guard is a great item, I need more of them, they really do make that frame more ridgid.

But becareful of WOK, he is queer for older men with air guns that they bought at Walmart. I have never met him, but his exwife, Tron, has told all of us about this problem he has. I hear that he usually asks you to go camping with him.

RJ fell for it and drove acrossed the country to go camping with WOK, he has been so traumatized by all this he shoots fishing sinkers out of his airrifles and has been buying big bores to shoot boat anchors now.

Poor boy just keep muttering about shooting boat anchors at 1400FPS.

Anyway, I hope you get that Reg thing figured out.
