Evanix renegade pistol.
I was looking through pyramid, and saw the evanix renegade pistol http://pyramydair.com/p/evanix-renegade-air-pistol.shtml
It says it gets 20 shots per fill, at 840 fps, could that really be possible?
I was thinking about getting an FX ranchero, but this thing seems pretty close the the fx, but half the price.
Any body have one, or read any real world reviews?

Well, the issue then is that if you get a Ranchero (I don’t know too much about them) there is always the Falcon FN6 pistols, which always get great reviews.
Do you think I could mod it so the power is around 15 fpe? that is around 700 fps with 14 gr. pellets. I have taken out many rats with my crosman 1077, which can’t have more that 6 fpe.
I have to decide if I want a pistol that works like it is suppost to, and gets lots of shots, at a reasonable power level. or if I want to mod the renegade to get it to shoot to my specs. I have been through this before 💡
Well, the Renegade gets 841fps with a 14 Grain pellet whilst the AR6 gets 922fps with an 11.9 Grain pellet, which to me is really not all that much different. I really do hope that the valve is different, as everyone that I’ve read a non-biased review from has said that they are junk.
It is rated at 840 fps as opposed to 1000 for the Ar6 pistol. The trigger and valve are also suppose to be all new. I might give it a shot. I could always sell it later if I don’t like it. Oh, and it is going to be used for dispatching rats at 5-30 yards. I would be happy if it got 15 shots with 14 gr pellets in the 800 fps range.
All that I know about the AR6 pistol, which this is obviously based on, is that it is loud as hell, the power drops after every shot, has a tiny air tank, isn’t particularly comfortable to hold and is heavy. I would hazard a guess that this would be the same (what is the difference between them?!?!). It possibly could get 20 shots per fill, but I doubt it, or at least not without a 200fps+ variation. There is a way to get more shots at lower power though, and that is to place a small rubber washer over the valve stem.

I am looking for a multi shot though. Unless there is something so cool about the LD that makes you think I should have it.
