Evanix vs. Marauder
I have been really wanting a marauder for quite some time. But after spending some time on the yellow, and reading numbers and capacities on pyramid air, I question my thoughts. Most Evanix PCP (AR6, Rainstorm, Blizzard) have more capacity, even after the greg davis extension is applied to the Mrod. The rainstorm comes in lighter, and the blizzard and AR6 come in heavier. Most but the ar6 have a 10 shot magazine. Power seems to be greater for all Evanix out the box, even when comparing .22 Evanix to the .25 Mrod. All are listed at the same noise level by PA. Not trying to step on toes, or insult, but since I haven’t gotten to hold any of them,(shopping overseas), what, aside from the questionable Made in America stamped on the gun makes the Mrod better than an Evanix? The Mrod is cheaper by about $200, but the used market puts them really close in price. Magazines are even about the same price

the MROD and think about installing an Audrius Regulator..
The regulator would decrease the power, and reduce useable capacity. Plus, I think the highest number I have seen fpe wise for a .25 mrod was about 45-ish. I don’t see that as a reason to go up to .25 if a another PCP with bigger tank can do 45+ in .22.
