exploding pellets
have any of you guys tried making them or maybe tried some of the store bought kind ?
theres a guy on youtube filling hollowpoint pellets with toygun snap caps powder and getting them to explode in clay and shit

Lots of folks shoot their pellet guns in their backyards and in many places that is illegal, but they do it all the time anyways.

Anyone try and shoot these into clay or the electricians putty, something that isn’t hard and more like an animal? To ignite a rifle primer you really have to smack it, smashing one with a hammer on concrete doesn’t work, you have to use a nail. So a lead pellet instead of concrete (or a hammer) imo won’t set off the primer. The stuff he used is less volatile than the stuff in primers I would guess…
I’m having a tough time believing that the damage isn’t from the pellet and actually from the “powder”… The item should have made a popping noise outside the brain cavity instead of inside it…

i have super glued the large pistol primers into the top of 25 crowmags with good results

i’ve done it with polymags. I pull the poly tip out and put the powder in their and then put just a drop or two of denatured alchol on it and once it dries its ready to go, but i’ve never tried one on a a flesh and blood target… Im gonna have to now… 😈
