My grandmother could shoot a 22 rifle at strike anywhere matches and light them. Wonder if a pellet could do the same thing? 😀
I think for the next pellet exploit I gonna shoot at a small nail or spike of some sort and try and shiskabob a pellet on it.
Probably a hollow point ?

I bought a Crosman MK1 for $135. Then off to Mac1 for the LD treatment. I think I spent another $235 there. But I did make my own shroud. Later I bought another LD with 2 hangy tanks for $300!

Splitting a arrow was also proved to be TRUE. They showed BYRON FERGUSON doing it on tv. Can and could be done with a lot of luck as admitted by Byron.
His shot is SUPER cool but not impossible. Tons of videos of people splitting cards with pellets and bullets and such even further out. If you can split a playin card, you can hit a razor blade. Can you light a wooden match though with a pellet without taking off the head. I CAN……HE HE (not impossible, just fun)?
I have also shot a scope reticle at 30′ and the pellets smashes the 1st lense but STOPS right there. THose lenses seem to b very thick and they are concaved.

Here is mine. This is a lot of fun. I did it at 20 yds shooting a 10″ bbl Mac1 LD using CP’s in .22. I shot it while seated and resting on a camera bipod.
With this gun I was able to do it over and over again after only 3 warm up shots.
As you can see it knocked the shit out of the little aluminum handle piece
myth buster also ran a show spot on the myth of an arrow being split. They proved it couldn’t be done!
Problem is, I use to own an Archery Shop. X-It Archery in Killeen Texas. After the matches, we use to play a game called chase the nock where you shoot at your opponents arrow when it hits down range. It cost a dollar a shot to play. The object was to bust the nock of your opponents arrow. Many times over the years I have seen an arrow split an opponents arrow.
When it happens, and it is rare, it is called a Robin Hood. Most shooters keep the two welded together arrows as trophy’s. I have about 20 sets of them that I have shot both in the games and by accident in indoor competition. It will screw up your score, and loose you match. But it looks neat.
Unlike in the movies, when it happens in a competition, it is counted against you.

So a pellet hitting a blade at 20 feet is a no brainier. Sure it can be done. I’m surprised any one would think that a pellet couldn’t hit a blade at that range! Now go try it with an arrow at 20 yards! Lol!!

Well the pellet has to hit somewhere, right? Why not a razor blade?
I know for a fact that plain old barbed-wire will split a .338 caliber 210gr. Nosler Partition in half because it happened to me. One half went straight down into the ground, the 2nd half hit about 300 yards past the fence. Both halves missed the bull, which was standing about 15 feet behind the fence.
One strand of the wire was snapped, the other stretched quite thin. My brother dug up the part that hit the ground at the fence, it was maybe 25% of the bullet.
I used to think people sounded kz when they would say they were shootin grasshoppers, until one day I shot one.

I also saw the attempt to do this on Myth-busters. I can not dispute the shot in Vietnam because I was not there when the shot was made. But, I could say it could have happened with a lot of luck and a little help from above. 🙄

Sawtime, that is too funny, i wanted to take out a sheet of cardboard and gently stick in some 16 penny nails. Then walk back 50 yrds and drive em into the cardboard without missing the nails head. And get it on videotape.
