Q:

From Russia With Love (or is it Estonia) – Edgun .25 Std

From no plans on getting one to in my hands in 5 days. πŸ™‚ Hawke Sidewinder 8-32×56 arrived too and nearly 200 bar of Russian/Estonian air! πŸ˜† Ok – Ed I need a few T-Shirts…. 😎 It’s lighter than I thought it would be. Manuf date 2/23/2013. Excellent packaging. The gun is flawless physically as far as what I can see w/o disassembly.

I was able to remove outside of my shroud with hand pressure.

Once off the threads it helps to twist as you pull the shroud off as it is centered by rubber O rings that keep some grip.
Also the shroud/baffle tolerances are impressive as to their exactness. As close as can be without being too close.
YMMV.

The shroud removal is straight forward but you need a wise to hold the barrel/breech in since itΒ΄s little stubborn first time you remove it. The only thing you need is a 19mm (or some have 20mm) wrench.
Check YouTube for a video.

Is the a thread on how to remove the shroud?

If you want to test fot clipping you can try this:

It will give some noise, but it will show if clipping is your problem.

Sweeeet! Congrats Secoda! Now im tempting to get a .22 cal, man this addiction to airguns is gonna get broke! πŸ˜€

Excellent!!!!!!!

I love mine.

Can’t justify owning a 22 caliber rifle or i’d have another on the way!!!

Will definitely have to try out a 177 Cricket next!! πŸ˜€

I kind of remember that now that you mentioned it. I’ll check it out.

Thanks!!!

Hey secoda, it might not be ur scope a few guys awhile back posted same problem. Come to find out the pellets were clipping the baffles on exit, Old goat told they to use a marker and see , sure enough, not saying thats ur problem , just remember guys talking about it. Good Luck.

Well my cousin had the elevation problem so I did a quick Internet search and saw that they make scope mounts specificly made for either elivation adjustment or windage adjustment….maybe a new set of adjustable windage scope rings could help you out.

Well hit a snag with the new scope. Elevation is fine and it just made it with the sloped mount but there is very little horizontal adjustment. Its the first bad scope I have received. A call to Hawke in the morning…. It is shooting right on at 44 yards but 1″ to the left and cannot be adjusted. 😑

The mount slope is clearly visible with the receiver level.

Congrats. My 25 longs Bday is about 6 weeks before yours.
She has so far settled right at 930fps for a solid 70 shots. And the groups at 120yds so far lead me to believe the pellet is quite stable at that speed. Very happy

ahh, nice.

think i’ll email tony just to see if he has what i want for shits n giggles. my wallet will be smoking if the news is good. 😈

Ed shipped a few extra. I ordered it 5 days ago.
