FX Impact .25 Speed issue

Just got my impact and i am adjusting the speed. My crony is broken (shot it) and new parts is on the way. I have tried to up the speed but i feel i only get half way. I settet the reg arounf 135 bar (hard to tell exact since the gauge suck in details). I have also adjusted the hammerspring to almost max (half a turn backup of from not cocking). Also adjusted the valvestem return spring to max which should give me easy 280 m/s (920 fps) but when comparing to my Cricket in .22 i suspect i am 50-60 m/s away from my goal (i know i have super hearing). Any suggestions what this could be? My impact does not have the marks on valvestem spring tension adjustment bolt. On all the reviews there is 4 marks. 2 big and 2 half lines inbetween. When i first tested the gun it did not even shot the lead out of the barrel (.25 JSB Heavy).

Got the impact back! Will do some shootstrings and adjust for accuracy rather than speed. Will also be first use of the newly bought Combro chronograph. Hoot:
No i did not adjust regulator with pressure on….
Great that my videos gave you the confidants, but as I stated you must have extra orings and proper tools to even try. as for me I also had a leak 1st time, I didn’t have that 1mm hex Allen to properly replace that 2 oring in font of the reg tube had to over stretch those oring over the tube and kinda made the oring larger, think that’s way it was cut –was a blind shot not knowing if it gets cut, on my video I showed how to test the oring before fully assemble the whole impact——was a lesson learned from my mistakes. I will post more videos in what not to do and the outcome.
did you open up the reg or tighten down the adjuster while in pressure??? just info I need to put on my web in giving tips of other owners wanting to do there own maintenance.
The issue with my impact was surely made by me…atleast the leaking part after reassemble. Some orings needed to be changed and i could not see it with my lazy eyes so that is why i sent it to FX. Reason i started to take the gun apart was after i saw your videos Sniperlabyo and i was confident in how to tear it down. I had no extra spares of o-rings either so i hoped that FX would just fix it for me 🙂 Impact is on the way home again and everything is hunkydory!

As long as you do this, without any attachment to any manufacturer, you’re going to be bigger than you already are. Don’t sell your soul to anyone, ever, and everybody is going to follow.
You know I post videos of all the air guns that I owned or had experience with to help fellows air gunners to learn and fix there AG and didn’t really bash about one AG just how to make it better by tuning or go around the flaw. and never talk bad about an AG that I don’t have experience with. no mfr thank me or ask for suggestions of any kind to enhance that AG.
No didn’t sell my soul but willing to work with the mfr that is willing to Liston to make that AG perform better. I know FX AG, I owned and fix all of them before the BP seen–so fell in love with BP and sold all my Long guns.
Remember if you must flux–seek out a lot of info and ask questions, take a lot of step by step photos and notes as a reference point.

on a 10 joule impact, the reg is setup differently(80b reg pressure)–you cant set it up for high power (in some country you need a license), when you flux with it that’s what happens. if you don’t have the experience, tool, parts etc. don’t flux with it. now FX has to fix it for you.
The impact has the most o-ring and fasteners then any other air gun—so think twice—>let the authorize repair tech do the work.

Is your gun still under warranty? i was wondering bc i heard once you take it apart you will void the Warranty. ❓

Back to problem again..have a leak in the hole behind the saftey. Took the regulator pin (brass piece with 2 o-rings) out but not broken orings or such. Anyone know what to look for next?
Also what does the brassscrew do behind the grip?
