FYI JSB comparison of 14.3gr, 15.9gr, and 18.1gr
I tested some JSB’s today.
Same gun, same POA, 10 shots each group, 65yds with BSA Super
Ten bull barrel.
Top row from left to right was
15.9gr — 14.3gr — 18.1gr — 15.9gr
Light head wind when shooting the 18.1gr on the top row.
Second row
15.9gr — 18.1gr
14.3gr @ 875FPS
15.9gr @ 850FPS
18.1gr @ 815FPS

In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any of them…The only obvious
difference is price and availability IMO….14.3gr is $20.00 per 500, 15.9’s
are $15.00 per 500 and the 18.1’s are $17.00 per 500. The 18.1gr
seems to be the hardest to get but I would advise that you place orders
a month before you are going to run out no matter which you use….
The more tins you order the cheaper they are…I think I ordered 16
tins of 15.9gr From Pyramydair and got them for about $12.00 per
tin shipped….
You decide….I’m just the messenger.

Thanks for posting these M/C. I tried t get some of the 18 Gr’s before switching over the the .25, but never could get any.
Looks like your gun is shooting them Great!
Now about the POI statement. Nope, that isn’t the same POI. POA yes, but you can definitely see the different weights and velocity represented here. Not a lot. And thankfully the left to right is very close. But there is at least an inch or very close to it between the 14. and 18. gr. in center group mass.
Makes a difference in precision shooting. Got to know your hold-over! 😀
