Q:

Geordie David’s high flow valve stem collets

Hi everyone,
I have spent quite a bit of money with Geordie david a few months ago.
including buying one of his valves.
this operates with a removable collet that can be cut to give the required fps.
I had a few from him and eventually settled with one that was just right.
I have been spending ages it seems shooting at targets at different ranges buying more mounts and mods to get my set up ready for Hunting.
and I am nearly there now.
I sighted everything in, got it all nice and tight including my groups, looked at the collet on the valve when I wanted to remove it as I always do to find it had split in half and is now basically f***ed.
I know he is not around any more to help me out so I am wondering if any of you know where it is possible to buy some of this plastic tube so I can cut some to size.
I am not a Machinist or an engineer but capable of doing cutting.
If anyone has one of his valves and knows what or where I can get my hands on some or one of you actually do these yourself please let me know.
I am in the UK but please help if you can

11mm=0.4331″

Sorry if the mm system confuses you 11mm = 6/16 of an inch I beleive
there is possibly just a tiny bit of difference between the metric system and imperial ( I will not mention any thing about trips to Mars )

I will post a pic of the valve up tomorrow as I am not getting back till late evening I will be working several KM Sorry Miles away.

Thanks for the replies.

I’m guessing the actual tophat ‘face’ is below the valve body face and therefore needs the collet to make up the space.
This was a design idea by Lang. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have one of Lang’s old valves or a copy.
I happen to have 2 old collets still in my bits box, though the dimensions are maybe a tiny bit different.
How about a piccy of the valve to see?

Said it before and I’ll say it again: what the hell’s a mm??
