I actually had time to pick through that thread on the Yellow Forum. I know it was started as a “why do Edgun owners spend $1600 on an “ugly single-shot gun”. And there was some response to that…
…but, by and large, Edgun owners mostly just said “If you don’t own one, you just don’t know” (Rich from Mich said it best).
…and after reading a bit more, it was clear that it wasn’t a thread about “defending the Edgun”, it became a thread about non-owners, and how they needed to reassure themselves that they do NOT need an Edgun. If you can’t have what you covet, you take a shit on it (like I do when I see expensive sports cars or high-priced prostitutes) – it’s human nature – a defense mechanism. Better to talk yourself out of it, than to want it and not have it. I noticed that a lot of guys were focused on the price tag… So, why no mention of the countless other $1500+ guns???
Me thinks that the sour grapes are not tasting so good.

My thought is that if you HAVE to ask about the EDgun then you surely would not understand the answer.

they can not post on their forum to get advise from the owner of the
company for helping to fix….. That is a service you can not pay enough
Well, I’d prefer to hear that my guns are so high valued due to their reliability rather then of quick response of the producer to any break 🙂

As for the price. The retail price for people in Russia is now 1 500 US dollars sharp, shipping is not included. Thus you have the same price like in Russia, I earn less in States then in Russia and do it just with one reason — to force the market to get used to my guns 🙂 I still have plans to move the production out of Russia, built more guns and make them cheaper 🙂

Shit, besides an indexed mag (which I believe is in the works?) the only thing i’d like to see a synthetic or carbon fiber stock, but that would add another $1000!! Even that isn’t making me want one less…
I have WAY more than $1500 total into my AF rifle. I’d just about trade it all for an EdGun in 25… 😯
Personally I think it looks awesome and from what I have seen the long stocks are just as nice in wood or in metallic.

In the scope of things the EdGun is slightly expensive. That FWB is FUCKING expensive, I don’t care what kind of accuracy I can get up to 30 yards. I’d post this on the Yeller but it’s impossible format has me membership-less currently.

Been there and done that.Even those high dollar guns need a tune to be good shooters.Thats how AZ stays so busy with his rapids.If those guys were to go and buy tuned guns off the shelf they would see a big price jump.
