Q:

Got my Multi-Shot Kit

What up guys! I got my multi-shot kit in the mail the other day. From notification to delivery was probably about a week (counting weekend) and I live in Hawaii. Pretty dang good there Tony! As always Ed’s workmanship is impeccable. I love that the guy touches by hand the pieces when building these guns and multi-shot kits. Quality control. OK enough of that stuff.

Well I got the kit installed and it does as expected, looks pretty good as well. That said you pretty much gotta take apart the gun to remove the stock breech and install the multi-shot kit. I went with a full removal of the air tube, trigger group and then the stock breech. There is a breech block that the barrel screws into also that needs to be removed and replaced with one that comes with the kit. If you guys want pictures or a video of how or just to see it I can get around to it if there are requests. Just give me sometime.

Still gotta put some on paper to see if accuracy changes or anything (not expecting any problems). I am just a simple plinker and pest controller so I really don’t do all that shot string stuff with a chrono sorry.

Hello Ed. I think that Kekoa has stripped out one of 2 very small flat head screws that secure the rear cap on to the breech end of the air tube. I also have one of those screws that is almost stripped out. I went to the local hardware store today for a longer screw but, they were closed when I got there.

I hope that you have threaded the end cap holes deeper than the small and very short screw engages and that I can buy a longer screw and get it to tighten it down properly.

If not, I will have to buy the proper sized drill bit, the proper sized tap and drill and tap the hole deeper.

I will go to the hardware store tomorrow and post what I find out as to thread size and thread depth.

If I had to guess from the description I say it was one of these two cap screws..

If so the little side one is a 3mm thread x 4mm length and the rear action screw is a 3mmx 16mm. Try and replace them with 12.9 grade screws put a small amount of anti seize compound under the heads before re-tightening them and they should last forever..

Ed, Your boys are over tightening things again… 😆

I must apologize guys. I was just getting set up to video the take down and re-installationg of my multi-shot kit for all of you and I seem to have stripped one of the screws on the end cap of the air tube 🙁 For obvious reasons I will not be able to get video up any time to soon. Any one out there know where to get replacements of the stews and what number, size etc.?

Put picture here, I want to look at it.

Congrats…. yep… some pics and vid is interesting. ..

If you have enough info…you don’t need to remove/ empty the air.. anyhow it was good you did. ..

My shipment should be arrived during next 5 or 7 days…. but I will get the single shot breech. ..

I just removed the actual air reservoir not the air. Just wanted enough space to work the barrel with out scratching anything. Your going to be happy I am sure.

Thanks my brother. .. I am sure too “God Willing” ( insha allah) can’t wait to get it

I’d love to see some pics or a video. My check is on it’s way, hope to get my kit in a week or two.

Very interested in this, I got a email from Tony on 7-2-14 (while on Vacation) that he has a kit for me. I have the check ready and in the envelope ready to send tomorrow (7-5-14). Please let us know how it shoots.
