Got the 25 Cricket today

Thanks Earnest for doing a super job on a fine 25 the that RatRacer sold me…
But installing the UTG 3x9x32 bugbuster is an injustice to the gun, I got it sighted in but need taller mounts(ordered)
If you guys think a 22 Cricket makes the same noise as a 25 Cricket hitting a sparrow need your hearing aids checked…

When your wife finds out about the $150 crickets I’ll buy it off you and pay double! Funny how a few months ago you went from the AOA waiting list to now two high end tuned AGs.
Congrats Mike on your new .25. Maybe we here on TAG could send you a few cents each to help out on your new scope purchase. Yes PCP air rifles are costly but look at the fun we’re having, who would ever think!! :5:
There sure is something to be said about the .25 cal hitting things. It´s so much more powerful than a .22.
Nicely dodged with the Wifey ! Those 150$ Crickets are harder and harder to come buy nowadays – even thru Ebay so congrats are in order. :fishinghole:
That Bug Buster sure isn´t enough for any target work once the range exceeds 50 ft.
Yea the 25 is a lot louder than the 22 Cricket, But I have one of Donnys super duper LCD shrouds on the 22, Got one ordered for the 25 also,,, NICE !!!!!!!!
For shooting sparrows and euro doves at 38 to 48 yards the Bug is OK, But to shoot one hole groups and the heads off the birds you need a better scope, At least I do,,
I will have to live with the 3×9 bug for a month or so I am sure it will get better when I get the high mount scope rings in….
Just for ease of shooting I want to set my 25 up just like I have the 22 set up, Hawke scope and all,,,
One of the first things I did was install the Zonk O rings on the 25 mags, Now My mags do not fall out when I am trying to load them.
Just waiting on my High rings, Tripod, and my Donnys super duper LCD (shroud) Just looking around for extra penny’s to put in the piggy bank for my Hawke scope..
I love the 22 Cricket , But Earnest put the whoop in the 25 Cricket and its back to exploding sparrows ,,, :rofl:
Sad news the wife seen the 22 and the 25 and I got the What another gun, So I told the truth I got it on Ebay for 150 dollars and the Marauder is going up for sale…
I just have to take it apart and take pictures,
That may not be the whole truth ,
Time will tell,

I am glad I went with WWA , I am sure if I stayed with AOA I still would be waiting on my Cricket :rofl: It would be like nine months latter still waiting on 22 Cricket,,,
The best is I got an Earnest tune with both the 22 and the 25,,,
The bad is with the 25 I am back to looking for sparrow parts,
The 25 is loud, My Donny LCD shroud will be here next week,,
Anyone that says the 25 is back yard friendly has there hearing aids turned down… :smilen:

If you ask me I got the perfect air guns a 22 and a 25 Cricket tuned by the man himself Earnest…
