Yup … Sounds fairly reasonable….. But after taking with Ted ak OG… I think we determined that I have actually been on the waiting list longer then him……But since it is not Public Information how knows.
Additionally did any one notice that our good buddy Ted of Tedshold over received a R3 .25… Just kinda out of the blue….Hummmmmm
Hey….I just want to know if I should continue to waste my time waiting or just move on….. I think the Matadors are great …..but almost 2 years… No public contact information….No updates on delivery…..
Since NOT sending emails every day and being patient has not worked….
Lets see if the “Squeaky Wheel” concept at least gets an answer…

These guns probably need some assembly and sorting before Tony can notify you. This can take several days. Perhaps not a good idea to upset him right now.
I’d wait a day or two to give him a chance to sort things out. Besides, he’s not likely to be checking emails rigbt now.

Oldgoat, congratulations on your pending acquisition. Chatter on the forums went into high gear last night as we all know. I have not received the magic email but have waited patiently and will continue to do so. Im sure that your forward and unselfish thinking will allow someone else to have an Edgun.
I got the email saying my .22 LEYLA had arrived. I think I ordered it about 15 months ago.

I got 2 emails from Tony today. One stated that I had a 22 standard in and the other was that I had a 25 long in.
I already have a R3 25 long that was included in Tony’s first shipment of R3s. I haven’t had any problems with the stock breech or bolt: I am very happy with the gun.
I emailed Tony back that I have been waiting for a R3 25 cal standard since 10-2011. I got a late night email back from Tony stating that I could get a R3 25 standard also!
So; I have 3 R3 Matadors available right now! I could buy all 3 and make a TON of money selling the 22 standard and the 25 long on the Yellow!
I’m just not built that way. I’ve gotten my money back on the 2 Matadors that I have sold even though I could have made a lot more on both of them! Edguns are my only passion and, if I have one to sell, I just want to make someone as happy to get it as I was when I got it. Just color me stupid! 😳
I just sent an email to Tony telling him that I only want the R3 25 standard.
My turned down 22 standard and 25 long will make a late VERRY Merry Christmas for a couple of you guys that have been waiting.
They ARE worth the wait!
Your gonna love it. I also have one, vintage 05/12. It’s an absolute hammer and deadly accurate with JSB Kings. It is not to loud for the power and relatively short baffle system. I think this shipment’s guns will have the aluminum breech/ new bolt. Nice!!
