I sent you his informtion

I also received a email this morning that Tony has a Edgun available for me that was ordered December of 2011.

Could someone here who has Tony’s physical address available email it to me in order for me to send him the money.

Received! Thanks Slayer5.

This is a new 25 cal Edgun…

The Edgun is already very efficient so a slightly more efficient valve is even better! Is it true that the new valve will also make it a little quieter? I hope the shot to shot consistency is just as good as before or even better. I guess I’ll find out in a few days. 😀

What changes were made to the trigger assembly and what has improved over the last trigger?

Of course, if the air effitiency is improved it means that less air goes behind the pellet and thus less sound produced by the air coming out of the moderator.

I consider the new valve gives about 10-15 % effitiency of the using air per shot.

Anyone know the advantage of the new valve over the previous one?

I’m interested in the bolt/breech action, and any changes made there.

A long discussion ensued regarding the steel on steel structure vs. the aluminum on steel newer model. Very curious as to how that turns out.

Constant change is not a bad thing. It’s one way to learn new ways.

Sounds great Ed. It appears that when my new 25 cal. long arrives next week it will have all of the latest upgrades. Wow! Anyone know the advantage of the new valve over the previous one?
Well maybe not all of the upgrades, if you know what I mean 😉 :horse:

New breech, new valve at those guns.

Zocoloco, thanks for pointing out the changes/upgrades. I am still curious about the new and more efficient valve.

If this new Edgun meets my expectations I might have to finally sell my super accurate .25 Daystate Air Ranger which has been upgraded with a BSA barrel by Leupy from across the pond. I have held onto this rifle longer than any other I have owned including my .22 Edgun. I could never sell it before because it is just so accurate and the barrel wasn’t cheap. We will see…

nice id take one in 25 cal

Back end of that bolt definitly looks different than my R3

quote Varminter:

Do these Edguns that have arrived and are currently being shipped have the new breech and new valve system? Are there any other changes and improvements in this shipment?

From Lanzarote and complete chaos while my house is being refurbished:

From the image of the black beauty above it seems the new breech is there as well as the new trigger (one adjustmenst screw only). The new valve I think has been in producction for quite some time and ED may confirm whether or not it is installed in these guns…… 😉

Cheers
Trygve 😀

If you have a .22 in the black, I’ll take it. I’m on the list should I email you?

Sure!
