Q:

Grease Lightning

I’ve never had to use silicone grease for anything so I am not familiar with what I could use to lubricate O rings and my Hill Mk3 pump. Will this work?

Lowes has it for $3.97 whereas Pyramid Air is selling them for $14.95 plus shipping

Donny; you will definitely need this if you’re willing to buy an Edgun or any type of PCP air rifles, I have Hill Hand Pump NLGI 2 Silicone Grease, and Crosman Silicone Chamber Oil, when iam cleaning or repairing my M-Rod i will lube the o-rings with these, specially Hills Silicone is latest longer than Crosman, my advice for you, just go ahead and buy hills one even before your gun, and use MP5 or Ballistol Lube, Aerosol Spray for cleaning the barrel, i have spoken with Pyramyd air teach Dept. for external care taking they are highly recommending the Ballistol for the stock finishing and checkering grips as well, also use the Coated Dewey Rod & Jag and Brownells 7/8″ Round Cleaning Patch, be sure that i have all of these and i have been using them more than two years. see below links, ,,,,

– and just one cc of that stuff is going to last you for a lifetime. No need to buy a bucket……… 😉

Yes! The Lowes product will work fine.

Silicone grease is silicone grease. I worked in a dive shop and those little containers are filled from a huge gallon bucket, so don’t get the idea a dive shop has anything special in silicone grease.

Go to a local divers shop and get some divers silicone grease and you´re good. You should have loads of those shops in FLA. Or so i imagine ..
