Group Matador O ring buy
OK, I got a reply from my O ring supplier about ordering a complete Edgun Matador R2.5 and R3 O ring kit. I am missing a couple of sizes and I hope that Tony or Ed will post the complete needed sizes for the R2.5s and the R3s.
I have to order them in bulk and it looks like it is going to cost me around $250 to get them.
These O rings are 70 Duro except for the probe O rings that are 90 Duro.
Tony, or Ed, will you post the correct sizes needed for the R2.5 and R3? I think that I have just about all of the needed sizes; I need the size of the shroud O rings on the R3s.
I don’t want to make any money on this and I will probably loose some but, I like to help fellow Edgun owners out!
I have to order the O rings in lots of at least 300 and most of the O rings come in lots of 500. If I can get 9 guys to go with me, I will split the order 10 ways and send them out.
A lifetime supply of Edgun O rings would cost you less than $30 shipped. $32 to you foreign guys.

I don’t have the rifle yet – Tony just put me on the waiting list for a .25 cal Long. Perhaps you can order a few extra for us guys in the transient state.

Hey Kglad, Nope you got the R3 25 cal O rings!
You also got the 22 cal R2.5 O rings along with 25 cal R2.5, and 22 cal R3.
The kits that I sent cover the R2.5, in 22 and 25 cal and also the R3 in 22 and 25 cal.
I had a hard enough time trying to figure out who the people were that sent me Pay Pal. I had to try to match a Pay Pal up with a TAG name. 😕 I hope that I got everything right!
After counting, and sorting, 7800 O rings, I was not about to try to figure out who had what gun and in what caliber! 😆
Actually, 90% of the O rings are the same in the R2.5 and R3. The probes use a different size O ring for 22 and 25 cal. The R2.5 and R3 use the same probe. The R2.5 uses an O ring in the breech end of the barrel, the R3 doesn’t. AFAIK, that is it for different O rings between the R2.5 and R3.
It was just way easier for me to send everybody out the same kit. Besides, you R2.5 owners know that you WILL buy a R3 in the future! And you 22 owners KNOW that you REALLY need a 25.
You will already be covered on O rings when the kit arives! 😆

I got the O rings sent today. I sent out 17 O ring kits, an air gun stock and my R 2.5 25 cal. I had a bunch of pissed off people standing behind me by the time I was done! 😆

Oldgoat after you get through with all you oring mailing! that has to be a treat 😯 I forget my own address let alone everyone else’s!! If a set is available I have Hoot’s Edgun 2.5 Matador wouldn’t mind having a set for it! I am going to leave it alone for now! it has been working fine, so no need to mess with it!! 😯 I look at from time to time and want to take it apart like you do but haven’t ventured into it yet!!
